Do you think earning money from PTCs is waste of time?

What are your thoughts? I personally have been involved in many PTC sites. I have not yet receive any form of payments from any of these sites as i have not reached the minimum payout. Do you think i should carry on? What are your views and experiences with PTCs? I heard there are sites which pays for reviews. Are they reliable too?

my boyfriend's telling me its just a waste of time asking for penny with my precious time and the fact that it does somebad bad for the computer,he keeps insisting, your losing the gadget and keeping a penny.
