Anyone like Scooby Doo? Going to Watch the New Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins?

I'm a big fan of Scooby Doo and always have been, ever since he came out in the late 60's, early 70's. I've watched every Scooby Doo ever made I think, all the cartoons and the real people movies too. I was watching Cartoon Network and saw an advertisement for Scooby Doo: The Mystery Begins that starts this Fall, I think in September. It's how the gang first met and got started. I'm not sure if it is a movie or a series though. I plan on watching it when it comes out.
Will you be watching it too?

I read a really cute Doctor Who/Scooby Doo fan story - where Velma is actually a Time Lord (Lady), Daphne was a plant alien, Scooby (along with all the other talking dogs in cartoons) are survivors of a space ship wreck of caninidid aliens, Saggy is another alien only Fred is human (a rich human) financing the fun and the "Mystery Machine" is really Velma's TARDIS...

I won't be watching it as I don't have cable.
I love the original cartoon. I grew up watching the show. There was a newer version that came out (in the late 90's, I think), but it just wasn't the same for me. If anything, I'd rather watch the old episodes. They were so cute!
