My mom do not like to keep the photos of dead person, whether a relatives or a
beloved in photo album. She do not like to see their faces or keeping it makes her
feel sad, scary and annoy. While, I am the complete opposite of her, I like to take
photos of the living and the dead person. I am fond of taking pictures. I think
taking and keeping pictures of the dead is one way to preserve their memories that
once in their lifetime they are a good companion and been good to us. But, it
really feel scary keeping pictures of the dead in a funerals or in a morgue, Some
people do not like the idea of keeping pictures of the dead lying in their death
bed, morgue or in a funerals. They feel afraid of looking at the pictures imagining
the person in the person is looking at them, or their is a curse in keeping dead
pictures bring bad luck or misfortunes.
How about you? Do you keep pictures of the dead? What is the importance of keeping beloved dead photos?

I have never done something like this before but I have given it thought though. I wish I had a picture of my dad. He looked like he was just resting. I lost him when I was very young and do not have many photos of him at all.

Hello,
you are right. However, most old people just feel like to be sure he/she won't get bad luck by keeping those pictures around them. It is just like my parents feel about. For me, it doesn't matter keep or not is really not bother me at all.
