According to an article in Newsweek, 70 percent of all cancers can be prevented if we grew thinner, exercised regularly, avoid diets rich in red meat (substituting poultry, fish, or vegetable protein), and ate diets rich in fruits and vegetables, and stopped using tobacco.
The article was written by Robert Weinberg, American Cancer Society Research Professor at MIT.
Have you changed your lifestyle in order to avoid chronic conditions (e.g. heart disease, diabetes, and cancer), and if so how?

You are right Rupesh, not only cancer but all diseases can be prevented by taking good & balanced diet. Now adays we are not getting pure food. So we can add milk & fruits to prevent all diseases. Also as said here stress is a big problem for everyone. So for that deep breath & exercise can do. So we must be aware for our better health.

I agree with you and the so called article written by Robert Weinberg. All these cancers, Type II diabetics, Blood pressure and most of the heart attacks are in the category of disease of Civilization. With a strict and balanced diet we can control this. A good exercise will control most of these dieases. So to grow thinner we should have a balanced diet and good work out. So we can prevent the cancer as well as all these diseases of the civilization
