I think there are two diseases of civilization, oxygen deficiency, which leads to many other diseases including cancer and another one is lazyness which leads to many more diseases including diabetes, hypertension and so on. For civilization we cut down the trees, thus minimizing the amount of oxygen in the air and by inventing cars, tv, remote controls, fast food, microwavable meals we fead our laziness and started moving less and eating bad food more.

I think the "disease" you are referring to is a metaphorical illness. Civilization often brings new social problems compared to more ancient lifestyles. There isn't really a way to prevent it. It comes with the territory of innovation.

Hi...singing
Thank you for your response in this topio. Cancer, Type II Diabetics, Blood pressure and all comes under the category of disease of civilization. The modern life styles will bring new diseases. As prevention avoid the junk foods, red meat and do lot of exercise.
Wish you many greatdays ahead!!!
