Should I tell him?

I am currently in a domestic relationship with a man I've been with for about 1 year. He is abusive, hurtful and very disrespectful. I am planning of leaving him soon I am just getting my affairs in order. There is this other guy he is the Friend of my Boyfriends brother. He is very attractive sweet we talk easy and I like him very much. He is a very lonely guy and I have known him for just a long as I have known my boyfriend. Sometimes I think he is looking at me in a way that he shouldn't. I have no indications that he likes me. I have mentioned something to my boyfriends brother and he says that I should tell him. He also continues to say no when I ask if there is anybody in his life even casually. Should I tell him? How should I go about this? What do I say if he asks me why? Do you think he will think badly of me for feeling like this when I have a boyfriend?
