I came across an interesting article this afternoon on MSN. It says that there is a company in Austrailia, called uSocial, that will actually allow to BUY more friends on Facebook! To read the article, visit this link: http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/Investing/Disptach/market-dispatches.aspx?post=1249982&_blg=1,1249982
Personally, even if I have a business that I want to publicize and advertise, I can't imagine PAYING for "fake friends"! What do you all think? Is this the craziest idea you've ever heard of? Would you buy friends for your Facebook?

Hi, the link is not working. Well this is surely not a good idea. On some freelancing sites I had seen work for people to create lots of fake accounts everyday and people apply for these jobs. Apart from being dangerous since they copy photos and info of other users it is useless since they are fake. If you want friends to promote your business you have to create a Fan page and invite people to join the Group as many already do. I get invited frequently and usually join.

Sorry that the link didn't work...maybe since it's so long or I could have mistyped...oops. Well, it's under the 'Money' section of MSN.com, if anyone wants to search for it.
I agree with you though...the best way to meet new people is thru a fan page.

The word 'friends' has become so abused these days. How the heck can you buy friends. That is just so wrong. Friends are cultivated over time and can never be bought. Those who even think of doing so are just intending using them in some manner and that is not what friendship is about at all

Why would I want to buy friends? Cant i just join groups and join the 'Mass Add' Event? I just invite anyone from the list. This can easily be done and i can get 1000 friends. Why would i need to buy? The concept of buying friends itself is a no-no for me. In this case, its more of a 'consumer' relationship rather than friends. Friends should not be bought although it does happen in real life. Friends should be earned through trust!
