I usually juggle two to three books at a time, reading a little here and there. A few months ago I read "The Shack." It was a very emotional read and I understand that many have read it. My latest adventure is "Destined to Reign" by Joseph Prince. I like to read a lot in the religious category and this one is just plain good because of the fine research and points brought up that I have not put together this way before. It is many times hard to find anything written on the Old Testament that ties in the New Testament. I am not much of a fictional reader so I'm afraid that other than "The Shack," I cannot recommend a good current book that I have read that most would be interested in.

Well I have to give you a thumbs up because I stink at reading something nonfiction. It's just sometimes too realistic for my taste. Yes I know that's the point of nonfiction to be very realistic. Thanks for the comment and God Bless.

Most of the nonfiction I read is for information. I have learned that if I pick a subject that I know nothing about and just start reading a lot of different points of view, I can usually come to a conclusion of what works and what does not. That has worked for many subjects over the years and it's just plain fun. My next step after this is to just start asking questions of people involved with that subject. It's like digging for buried treasure.

lately I just finished reading the inspirational book written by Filipino Catholic preacher Bo Sanchez called "Don't Worry, be happy", it was my good friend Cromz who recommended the book.
It was a wonderful book about creating a happy relationship with ourselves and with God, it has a caption that says: Did you laugh with God today?

I absolutely love talking to God! To some people reading this may sound stupid because you might say "well what does he mean God isn't there in the room." But to me He is! He's always right here with me and I love to talk to Him when times are good or bad. Thanks for the response sorry about the rant. God Bless. :D Hope to hear from you again.

The last book I read was a Tolkien, the Children of Hurin. I've actually read a version of it in the Silmarillon, but I still got the new book because I love Tolkien's writings!

Thanks for the comment. And yes Tolkien is a very amazing writer. Did you know the LOTR series started as stories he would make up for the children who lived near him. It's true. Thanks and God Bless. :D

I really wish I could read books f had time. Here time seems to be the villain. Since I don't have enough time to read books, I think I should forget about it. However I do read a lot of articles from online on different topics. I think that would act as some kind of substitute for books.
Happy Lotting

Yes, I would say that I have read quite a few good books lately. I have read the new book by Debbie Macomber, 92 Pacific Boulevard, the three books in the Montana Creeds series by Linda Lael Miller, and now I am reading the latest Nora Roberts book, Vision in White. I have quite a list to read also.....
