I have been thinking of leaving Mylot!

Naw blue, don't let people run ya off! Listen I too have found that there are times I think I've posted a good discussion but then get no responses or those that don't even bother to read like you say, and give a response that has nothing to do with anything. Those that are trying to get you as a referral to some site just ignore them. Those that cuss and swear, and belittle you don't hesitate to send them to mylot admin so that admin can deal with them accordingly. It's really completely up to us what we get from our experience here. I've run in to a select few that have made me so angry I wanted to pull my hair out, but 98% of my experience here I can say without a doubt has been very pleasant. I've learn so much since joining this site, and made good friends, and gotten good responses from people that have been in my shoes before. For me the positive far outweighs the negative so there's no question about me wanting to stay. Really blue just delete those unpleasant people from your list, and report those that need to be reported. As for the trolls they will always come back no matter what but if we don't respond to them or give them the attention they so crave, they won't have any reason to keep on

Hi , very sad to hear about your experience here in mylot, but I will suggest you to keep positive attitude and continue being part of this community. Just to leave the community because of few people (the number will be always less compared to good one), is not good thing. Why we should get depressed because of some non-sense members and ignore the good ones. I am sure that you must had a good time and some good friends here as well, so think of that and continue adding such friends and moments in your mylot account and enjoy your time here. And igonre all the other things. Give your valuable inputs and exprience to all, no matter they appriciate or not. But one fine day you will definatelyl get rewarded for your good deeds. Just my view, all the best.

Yes, I agree with you, I got some responses which does not relates on my discussion because they don't read my whole discussion, they just want to respond so that they can earn. We cannot blame them for that.Let just it our part, let them do what they want to do, anyway if they have violated the guidelines, you were not the one who will be given the sanctions but them. Do not leave the site just with that. You have been in the site for a long time.It is really hard to find a website similar to mylot or a legitimate site. Just ignore those members who don't give quality responses.happy mylotting!

Okay I checked, the friend thing probably won't work for you. You posted a discussion one week ago and have not bothered to reply to a single one of the respondees so why should anyone of them bother to respond back to you again, your answer is there in why you don't receive responses. But I expect you won't respond to any of this.

Sounds like we are in the same boat.. I just had that thought yesterday as I was so unhappy with having little to no responses. So now I have just decided to respond to discussions and not make any as its obvious that good discussion topics here will not get you any responses.. its usually silly topics like "it's raining outside" that will get you 100+ responses.. So let me know when you decide to leave.. I'll join you too as I've been miserable lately here at my lot...

I am just very new in this site, only 5 days old, and i was a little bit discourage when i read your message. I understand that people registered in this site with different purposes. Some purposes are legit while some are just self serving, .... just to earn. However, the few friends which I have for 5 days gives me a reason to stay. I believe that they are sincere though. Please do understand that not all people are good in writing or expressing what they are thinking. Just like me, I really cannot sustain long writing, that is why my husband is always calling as a "trying hard writer". So, what i am trying to tell you is that do not give up. Just be truthful to yourself even when others are not.

Hi blue, Sometimes I feel like that too. I sometimes get affected by the rudeness that I see on here. If it gets to me too much then I just take a break. Sounds to me that that is the point you are at right now. I say that you shouldn't just leave but maybe take a day or two off and then come back.

There are a lot of things that ruin mylotting for people. Sometimes it's other members and their opinions, sometimes it's just lack of good discussions, responses or comments. In either case, be sure to think clearly on whether you want to leave the friends you have made here. There's always going to be bad discussions,responses, and comments here, and everyone has their own opinion, that's a certain... Just Don't Let Others Ruin Your Fun Here.

Maybe a lot of us had gone to that feeling of disappointment of getting few responses or even a no response when come to think of it our topics are much better compared to some, for me I let days and even months passed sometimes without starting a new discussion and concentrate on responding to others. By this way I feel, I have a silent protest in my own way. When I started a new discussion again, I turned notification on with all of my friends listed, maybe it's one of the reasons to have more good responses. For replies that hurts, I can't blame you for feeling that way but why be affected of this few no good people, just go on and sooner or later you'll find more good mylotters with good manners as well.

Hi bluepacket, I just knew that the discussion you put up today was a repitition of an earlier discussion just like the knee injury probably was as well, the idea is actually to put up original discussions but I feel you do it as a means of seeking attention for yourself and calling for people to say don't go, we like you, and why not indeed if you are of the insecure type who posts so many quality discussions as you say about yourself. Once again though I must reitierate that only be responding to your posters will your reputation be enhanced.

can i say this: if you love mylot then why live?! well i have been to your footsteps way way back 3 months ago? i s*ck in mylotting and i am getting paranoid as well as annoyed on why i am not having so much responses and so on and so forth. but i didnt give up! why? because i love it here and i am making new friends as well. its such a waste to just leave it there! so i experiment and make new ways. wasy to earn more and to have those lovely responses from friends and a whole new lot mor friends! i even didnt get this blue star for nothing. i struggle and my experiments did gain me what i needed!!! and now i know i can totally be a full blooded mylotter! and now i am more active because i helped out to those who needed our help and on how to really mylot! mylot is our community. w need to value it and respect one another. there are many ways you just have to know how and you can ask me for what that techniques be. and i am always happy to help out!!! so always think a thousandth, millionth times!!!!! jhelai

hello blue packer. I check your profile, it seems that you've been here quite a while too my friend. you words: but some replies still hurt me and I don't like that! I'm sick of trolls! I've been stabbed in the back,insulted,reported,and swore at! I came on this site to make alittle extra cash,make new friends, to grow in my writing,voice my opinons on some topics and have some fun! Lately I have not have much fun and not lot of time to on here either! So we'll see! You know there was some one i know was a friend of mine here online. and all of a sudden the user banged-up on me for the wrong reason, accusing me of somethign i didn't do, more than that person deleted me off it's list .i was depressed for days, took me time to move on. but i eventually did. I know mylto has chnged, and i know you see it too.but despite of that, i never got it in my brain about quitting. some times, i tell myself, whether it's true or not i gotta faced it because this is mylot. where everyone can tell what ever they want to say. This is a challange for us Individuals, about accepting and tolerating others. am not perfect but am learning here, no matter how rude or sarcastic the comments are..besides, you have come a long way to give up now. there aren't any good sites out there (unless you're good) besides mylot that pays users regularly. But what ever decision you make. we will respect it.

How much income you have in mylot ? 've ever pulled ? what you do not think pros and cons first, why you leaving my lot ?

i have to say, there are all kinds of birds in the woods. we just should be ourselves and have fun, meanwhile, give others tolerance. anyway, just persist not give up.

I'm very sorry to hear that. I have been with Mylot for over three years now and have seen alot and been through alot here too. I try not to pay any attention to those people who do not mean well here. I just do my own thing and stay away from the trouble some people like to cause. Please stay.

Yes, sometimes i do feel like that too... not even get non respond, or a few or my discussions were delete with no reasons. I know they said non discussion are against mylot or something like that... but I didn't do that at all. I just has an advice on this and that... boom, it gone. hahah... sometimes i feel like, I will not do this anymore. however, it still bring me in cuz this is the only site that I trust and pay me as well... just try to respond to someone one or accept what you get now... and dont take it too personal. for me now, I dont really care how much respond I will get but as long as I get pay... that's what I really care about.

Hi Blue65packer, I agree with what most of the other responders have already said, you shouldn't allow all the good to go to waste simply because of the bad. As with most things in life, we must learn how to take the good right along with the bad. So open your heart to the good and continue to build good healthy relationships with us, as for the bad, just ignore and it will sooner or later go away. Thanks for sharing, happy mylot!

I have been dealing with thoughts of leaving as well. It is not as fun anymore as it was when I first joined. Also the lack of communication from the admins is something that bothers me. I prefer discussing on a forum with fun and nice staff members around than a forum where all staff members are nowhere to be seen.

I completely understand where you are coming from as I too have been subject to the same as you. I just try to ignore those individuals as I am here to have fun, make new friends, and to earn a little bit of extra cash as we both know that we will not become rich doing this. Don't give up on mylot just because of a few ignorant people. Stay, have fun and make new friends.

Dont leave this site. It is very good. You dont care your quries are answered properly or not. look for other discussions where you questions simillar to yours are asked. Have a happy time
