Have you ever worked in shifts? I am doing now and hate it :( wish there were options for me.

I never had to work a job that required me to work in shifts. i have been fortunate enough to work in a corporate environment ever since I was 16.

Yes. You can say that you have been fortunate. It's nice to have a settled job with regular hours

Yeah and then coffe and sleeping pills become your best friends(sigh again)

I can understand man, you are not able to sleep in daytime and then you get indigestion and you have to go to work the next night and you get even more tired and then you still can't get some sleep the next day. I know it can be hell especially when you start.

I was talking of jobs which require you to work in shifts not shifting places.

if you are working in call centres you have to work in shifts.the basis is to adopt.if you have high adotiblity then there would be no problem.main thing is sleep.those who work in shifts generally develpo irregular sleeping habits.such people should sleep whenevr they get chance and moreover they should make arragements for food from somewhere else as preparing foods for themselves after different shifts is really very strainious.so people with high adaptability and stamina only can work in shifts
