I have got a question for you all and I hope someone can come up with a solution to it. I have asked around and have asked my buddies to ask around also but it seems like no one could offer me any help to get me out of this dilema. It seems like everyone was as lost as I was.
Since my mailbox is flooded with all types of mail from all the social networking sites that I belong to, it becomes extremely difficult to find the mail that I am looking for. I would like to organize my inbox in such a way that I can get to the mail I want without hunting it down with alot of effort and wastage of time and missing that all important mail from YOU!!!!
So, my question is: does anyone here know how to set up email filters in Yahoo mail? I tried setting it up but it is simply not working right. The incoming mail is not going to the designated folder and it is still ending up in the inbox. I had clicked on the "Add" button, entered a "Filter Name", then filled in the "If all the following rules are true...From Header: with the name of the group/social networking site name. Initially I had filled in the remaining sections with what I thought was the appropriate thing but the filter just refused to redirect the mail to the right folder. Today, I have deleted the enteries in the last two fields and left them blank hoping it gets redirect to the right folder now.
While setting up the filter, I guess I must have either set it up incorrectly or missed some important step some where. One thing I must ask is: Is it necessary to put each email address, other entries in their own individual quotation marks(" ") to make it work right? Should I leave the last two entires blank or is it necessary to fill in information there?
