I really like the Guitar Hero games for the DS. I like the guitar peripheral and the pick shaped stylus. I hear there is going to be some drum type peripheral with the new Band Hero game for the DS , as some DS drum games are and that sounds interesting pathetic with only two different controls instead of at least using the screen to create a four pad drum. Mario Kart is a good game on all systems. It was one of my first DS games and the only one from my first batch of games that I still own and play. I like it on the Wii better, though.

If you want rhythm games I will recommend Rhythm Heaven. This surely won't let you put down your DS. I also recommend the New Super Mario Bros.

My favorite is Ace Attorney and I can't wait for the localized version of Aec Attorney Investigations!! It won't be coming out until next year though. I also loved Animal Crossing Wild World, though I'm over my obsession LOL!

One of my favorite games are the Layton puzzle games. Currently there are two Layton games (that are in English, there's more in Japanese): Layton and the Curious Village, and Layton and the Diabolical Box. It's a game that incorporates various puzzles that Layton and his apprentice have to solve. That's what I like about this game: it's not just a list of puzzles to solve, but there's also a mysterious storyline/plot behind them.
