Hi acie_21
This once happened to me when I was in elementary. My eyes minus 2 and I hadn't known this. I wonder why I can't see the questions, afraid to tell the truth and push myself to see the questions on the white board. Even after I came in front of the class, I still couldn't see what my teacher's wrote! At that time, I didn't know that I had minus 2 on my eyes. I put my test paper with big red zero inside my book, but my parents found it! My father gave me seminar for 2 hours about how can I get that zero? what I'm actually doing in class, etc.. Then after I told them the reason, they brought me to the optician and found out that I have minus 2.5.. Now my eyes have minus 7,,hehehe.. I use contact lenses now. Beside that accident, I never get zero in other subject
Waw! Seems like your teacher so scary.. Throw students paper into the dustbin!

So, you've done lasic! How was it feel? I've planned to do it sooner, but I'm still afraid of the pain.. Did you feel any pain or some uncomfortable feelings in your eyes after that process? Yeah, it's quiet expensive nowadays, but it's the simplest way to get rid all your eyes minus or plus..no need to wear eyeglass or contact lenses

honestly?it wasnt ...doctor larazabal the husband of dona cruz operated my eyes...his the doctor in the phil....
what is painful, when my eyes was stretched opened wide by a metal circle..my eyes is chinky thats why it hurts....
i see lots of color dots runing in my eyes..lol!
after the operation it was quite uncomfortable and little bit of painful...
the uncomfortable feeling just last for 1 week and its gone...

no.i not try to have a grade of zero.i decided that i will have zero because it is only the same.if i submit the requirement i will only still get a final failing grade so no need to try and make effort when i know that i will already fail.

lol =D nO matter how bad i'm in my studies, i will never be scoring a big fat 0 for my exams etc.. hehe ^_^ IT's kinda embarassing for myself, as well as for the teacher who's marking our work.. hehe ^_^
THe worst i've scored is just 7/25.. lol =D And that subject happens to be maths as well! lol =D Maths is a subject that cant really be studied, and it depends more on understanding the basic.. hehe

hahaha =D One thing i like about maths is that, there are always formulaes provided during exams.. hehe ^_^ And that it's not really that possible to score 0 because marks are given for workings, or correct guessed answers too.. lol =D
My favourite subjects will be chinese, accounts, and history.. haha =D

It happened to me a couple of times already with all the subjects i think. I still got zero even when I read my books and notes . I am probably one of the slowest students in my class in grade school, but one of the good students when i was in high school lol. Anyways, most of the zeroes I got? MATH! I really hate numbers. It scares the crap of me. I feel liking going out of the room once my math teacher comes in. Hehe

Sorry,I've fogot my lowest grade. It's at least above the passing line. The education of China is very stict. We have to work hard to go to the key university. The cometition is very firece,so we must strive to improve our level of knowledge.Chinese education is too rigid and I hate this style.

Well not exactly. It was one of our science tests. None of us understood well so we all agreed (without the teacher knowing) to do "bad" on the test because he was know as letting students re-do or correct test if most of the class did bad. So most of us got below 60% (which is failing) and he let us all re-do it in class and at home and he raised most of our grades to 80% or above.
Actually I never received 0% before on a test--EVER! I'd always try at least to attempt doing the material.

No I haven't gotten a zero on any of my exams but I've gotten plenty of Fs. Even if I don't study, I usually get lucky on a few questions or remember something I heard in class and get a decent F-. Some teachers are just plain mean though. A teacher I used to have would pass out the exams according to the grade the students get and he would parade around the bad grades. Thank god that was one of the classes I was good in

Hello my friend..if you're talking of grade zero experience, yes...absolutely..I had so many times maybe it was because of some bad influenced from my friends...besides during our younger years we could not focus well our studies because of some instances and some top priorities that need to do first rather than studies first...I became serious on my studies when I reached at my secondary level because I had started to like classmate, a sort of puppy love. Of course I should have to prove myself that I am good enough for her when time comes that i would propose to her...he he he he he it doesn't mean I never get zero again, I had anyhow but not quite always like at my elementary studies...thanks for this topic, it reminds me of my past years...

hmmmm...let me think...well i think i have got this zero mark when i am still studying! haha but its not because i don't study...its because its a surprise exam about a subject we're not studying yet...haha
i remeber i got zero in one of my exam in accounting...haha coz the type of exam is problem solving and onceyou get wrong on the first part, everything will be wrong and that is just one problem to solve which equivalent to 50 points! huh! but that's okay...because the whole class got the same! haha

Hi Acie, I am a retired teacher that too
of your dreaded subject, Maths, But I used
to be loved by my students. I have never seen any
one purposely trying to get zero, and I also have never given
zero. I used to encourage by helping the one. This
made the student love me and also gradually love
the subject also

heheheh!hi shantha..happy to have you here...
well,i dont bother to have math in my life...for this is very helpful to us..
but what i hate most..teachers who make their students feel dam..and let them feel shame in class...
she was the worst teacher i ever had..i had no problem in my college days..were math is much difficult ...
teachers must gain respect to students so that they will have respect in return to students ..help them instead of making the students feel useless and dam...
thanks friend..

Exams are quite boring for most of the students but actually it forces them to study hard and score good marks...once when i was in grade 9 it was the exam of economics and the day before the exam i didnt study at all cause there were lots of lessons to be read and it was quite hard for me to read..so i just thought about not studying and went to roam and on the exam day i was quite scared and gave my exam without studying but when the result came i was surprise cause i was just pass...so from that day i studied hard....

I didn't intentional do it but it quite happen often to me. I admit I'm a late comer in my class. But the fact that i don't study doesn't mean its a definitely a zero grade. But the funny thing about not studying for me is I can get a perfect score. Do you think I have a high IQ?
@acie_21 (5633)

i dont know..it depends..if your easy to learn..and dont have a hard time to pick up...lessons directly..meaning your iq is ok...
if your a slow learner means you have low iq..
but each person has their own capabilities...
like for examlple..a smart child is good at memorizations..and math..but dont know much about computers...
but a slow learner knows everything about computers but not good in school..
it depends to a persons own talents...and interest..
nobody is dam....

Hmm.. I don't think I ever did something like that on purpose.. though I think I have had one exam where I didn't get anything correct.. though I don't remember what the subject was, but it happened when I was still in college.. anyway, it was a funny experience, though after that I learned to always be ready and to study even if we don't have any exams.

Hi, I have never scored zero in any exam. But I had flunked my Mid-Year Form Three Exam. That was the critical year as we have to sit for the Government Form Three Exam in November. I was last in class, penultimate in the whole form of 8 classes. I was in A Class and my teacher justified for me that I could have done better if not for the chicken-pox. Out of 9 papers, I sat for only 1 paper. Not bad... can still be last but one in the whole form of 8 classes!!

yes many times already, and the worst is i got zero during preliminary exam in 4th year college, i got really ashamed on that because i am lazy when it comes to reviewing my lessons. So since then i focused on my subject and i do anything just to get a high grade so that i would not failed in that semester.
