New Experiences! Life Experiences, do you indulge?

Ah! Here's another one I have thought of they seem to be coming thick and fast now! Anyway, my life tends to be a pretty quiet one and I rarely venture out of my comfort zone. However, I'm started to feel really bored and I'm asking myself all the big questions, what am I doing? Where am I going? Why is my life so boring? Stuff like that! Well, I have decided to take a great leap of faith and I'm going to experience something new, something I have never done before. I have always wanted to fly but have always stopped myself from progressing further due to lack of money and also the expense that relates to flying. So, here I am doing some research and I thought of the next best thing, why not go up in a microlight aircraft? I found a company that offers flying packages for around £57, that's not too expensive at all. Anyway, my nearest place is Brighton so I have decided I'm going to do this! I must be round the bend but I'm really excited about it as well as nervous. This will be the first time that I've had the courage to do something really big like this. Anyway, are you the type to relish on new experiences especially those that get you adrenaline pumping? I'm starting to think that life is too short and I really have to start doing some really exciting things. Andrew

talking about boring life, count me in. i have always had one. i too like to travel but i have no money. i am not really into big adventure or experience. but sometimes i want things to change in my life. cause i just mostly stay at home. with my parents and siblings only. wish that i can get to go out often with some people or friends. only good friends though. but it is hard for me to find people who would love to hang out with me. seems very few people are interested to go out with me as friend only. anyways, talking about bad luck. but i still lots of days to live with this kind of life. i wonder what i can do with things to change things around.

it seems things now involves money . if you are not one of those lucky people to have money then you will hard time enjoy life and sometimes it is so impossible to enjoy life now without money. i want to enjoy life without the need of money. i mean though i want to travel but those experiences are temporary and the joy in traveling ends soon after our adventure is over. i want something that i get to enjoy while at home without spending money. and i think i have some ideas what makes me happy but i don't know how to do that though. it seems that circumstances is not favoring me yet.

I'm sure that you will come up with some ideas about enjoying yourself and making your life more interesting. Yes, money is definitely an issue and I don't have much of it! I'm hoping that I can save for this experience though as I feel that there is so much fun to be had. Keep smiling. Andrew

I would love to travel myself but I am in the same predicament as you, I don't have much in the way of money. I guess you have to think about what you enjoy doing! Is there anything that you really like doing? I don't get out much myself either and this is something that I would like to do. I'm trying to remain positive though and hope that I can make a good start with this new challenge. Good luck with your own plans. Andrew

Hi Andrew! It is very good that you are about to fulfill your long term dream of flying. Hope you would enjoy a lot. There are many times happened in our life ; that we feel boring. The reason behind that we bound ourselves with manay resstriction. After sometime we feel boring with our own created restriction. So at last i thing you have broken all your boundries and going to enjoy a lot . No need to be nervous about your flying. I have expericence your type of boringness many times but we feel great when boundries are broken. I will wait for your next discussion after flying high in sky. so keep waiting 1..2...3... . have a nice journey in sky!

That is wonderful to hear my friend, you should be right proud of yourself, not only will that give you more confidence to do more adventurous things, but that will also help depression and the 'rut' that we get stuck in at points in our lives. Sometimes we need to step out of our comfort zone, it is difficult but it's worth it. Life is indeed too short and if you don't do it you'll only be regretting it for the rest of your life and it will be a case of what if.. If you enjoy it then great, if not, so what, you've done it! Time to move onto something else. I am doing this, not as adventurous as you I have to admit, but I am doing new college courses, art classes for instance and even stepping into meditation. Please let us know how you get on.

Hi wolfie. Yes, I'm really looking forward to this one! I am kind of stuck in a rut and this has been the case for so long that I'm actually fed up with everything now. That's great stuff in relation to what you are doing yourself, college courses, art classes etc. I'm also into meditation well I have not practised that for a long time now but I'm thinking that it would be a good idea to return to this activity. Well, let's see how interesting I can make my life! All the best. Andrew

Good for you taking on new and exciting adventures. I have flown in both Large and small commercial planes. I am afraid that I would not do a microlight plane. I also do not do roller coasters. Both would make me feel too out of control. I like going new places, though and doing new things. I think it keeps your brain alive.

Hi GardenGerty it's great to actually communicate with someone who has travelled down the flying route already. I definitely like the sound of keeping my brain alive! I think it has been slowly withering and shrinking for a long time now! Still, I'm hoping to change things and eventually feel far more pleased and content with myself. Andrew

Thanks. I bet you do have the courage you just need a little encouragement. I don't have anyone to encourage me so I guess I get this from self-help books and things. I'm feeling very nervous about this idea but I won't be happy until I have achieved it. Andrew

Hi sugarfloss. Well, I'm looking forward to it and I don't know how it will go but I'm sure there will be a mixture of different feelings there! A microlight aircraft seems so tiny and there's only the hang glider type of wing that it has but a lot of people have been doing this sort of thing for a long time now so I'm pretty certain that it is safe! Hi AndrewFreyne, I think that's a great idea and I agree life is short and you need to venture out of your comfort zone sometimes. You appear to be very excited over this so I hope it goes well for you and perhaps you will get your pilot's licence someday. Blessings.

Hi pose, yes, excited is the word! I hope that I have a certain flair for this and that I take it up as a serious hobby! Only time will tell anyhow. There's just so much that you can experience if only you lock the bad stuff away i.e. bad or negative thoughts and so forth, I need to concentrate on doing this. Anyway, I'm going to remain positive about this whole idea! Andrew

That really sound interesting. If I have similar offer with nice price around here I might try it as well. You're right. Life is too short to be filled with nervous and scared of being hurt. At least if you try, you'll know whether you can do it or not. Just staying in comfort zone and wondering won't take you anywhere. Good luck in trying! I hope you have success!

Hi prinzcy, it's a shame that they don't have something like this in your own area but you should do some research yourself as you don't know what you might come up with! I'm keeping this big idea constantly in my mind now, I'm sure that it will be a day to remember! I'm kind of hoping that the weather stays perfect too! Andrew
