We are all living in this world of technology. and i think one of the best invention is the telephone which turned into cellphone. Everybody have cellphones, even children have it. it's the easiest way of communication wherever we are and it's very important whenever there is an emergency or even if we just simply want to greet someone. well, can u imagine yourself without cellphone? even just for one day?

Hi! If I still have my PC and internet then I can certainly live without cellphones. To be honest I don't really use my cellphone that much except during rendezvous or urgent matters which rarely even happens. I usually use the internet (email, chat) when communicating with my friends/families.

yes we can use internet to communicate with other people specially if u are just staying at home just like me then we won't need cellphone. but if we are outside and we travel, i think cellphone is the most convenient way to communicate still.^^;;

Of course nothing beats cellphone when it comes to convenience in mobile communication. It's light, small, and using it is just like a snap of a finger :) That's why cellphone is only useful for me when I go out of the house especially during rendezvous with friends. But if I'm just staying at home (which I usually do), it's like a miracle when someone would message/call me. lol.

The new era has actually begun with the mobile phones.I have got my mobile recently,but my dad has it from a long time,thus I have used it for long too.The features in it actually never makes us feel bored or not being interested in the mobile.
When its just communication its fine but it has come to so many advancements and addicting features that to think of leaving it is not a easy task.The humans have found have new way of keeping them entertained as well as connected to the world to all,by means of music,picture,videos and live phone in conversation,these are the things everyone looks forward too.

No doubt, cell phone is a great invention and the best communication tool, available in the world today. But to say that one cannot live without a cellphone is humbug. About 12 to 15 years back, I did not even have a land line telephone, and I had survived without it for the maximum number of years without it, and so even if it goes away tommorow, I would not regret it.

even i don't use my cellphone that often. i do think that it will be hard to live without cellphone cause it is very useful and save from lots of trouble as i can contact anyone easily now unlike before that it is hard to contact any one. now we can reach any one so easily. but as i see it when we don't have cellphone yet on the market that we wish we could have something like what we have now. now that we have cellphone now that i feel that we don't appreciate cellphone now as the first time as we appreciated when it first came out. cause i think that we got used to it now so much that it is like any ordinary gadgets we have now in life. it is no big deal now to have a cellphone. sometimes we take for granted the things that we can with cellphone.

I can remember too when i got hold of my very first cellphone. I was so excited at that time and i couldn't put it down. I wanted to find out what else can i do with it. Now, i have two cellphones, but i rarely use them both. Yes, we are always excited on something new in the market but we easily get tired of it. have a nice day^^;;

Because of the new innovation of technology,the cellphone was introduced and everybody now has it.Before we are used to have only a landline telephone and the connections were only limited, and not accessible to all because of the high rate payment that mostly people from all walks of life can't afford to acquire it.Thank God now,an individual gadget for communication is made and I think all can provide themselves to have it.These days,we can't live up the life without carrying the cellphone in our purse or pocket,isn't it?For me,by now life would be hard without my cellphone because every seconds or hour I need it.I used to call or text my family ,friends,colleagues and I find it very helpful as well as useful too.

hi reemshine^^: thanks for sharing your views here. yep! cellphone is really important for people to connect to each other anytime anywhere. it's the easiest and most convenient way since we can just stuff it in our pockets. I have come to this question since in my case who just stays at home, i rarely use my cellphone because i would usually connect to my friends over the internet. but yes i still need cellphone to call my family. i guess the need (very to rarely) depends on each others lifestyle or work.
happy lotting to you^^;;

yes, i can.
i was born in an "era" where cellphones were a "non-entity" and i have outlived that time. it is not the only important thing in life. sure, we can live without it.
but as it is now, we have grown attached and held dear our cellphones as these make our life more comfortable and more easy in terms of communication.
if my cellphone were to be detached from me at this time, it wouldn't pose any problem to me. i will just have to remedy the situation with other means.

yes, cellphones are a very important part of our life especially connecting people from one place to another. life without mobile is very tough as we cannot connect to people or cannot pass important message whenever necessary.
I can live without mobile but it will be a great loss as many of my works are connected to it. whether official or personal..chatting with frinds for enjoyment or getting any hot news, all occurs with the help of this boon to life called mobile.

I don't even heard if someone was die without a cellphone. I heard those killed because they have cellphone, my friend. But have no cellphone, they can't die.
It is much risky having a cellphone than no cellphone at all.
My views is that I can live without a cellphone...have a nice day!

Thanks for your response my friend. take care

hi!, in our time mobile phones are becoming a necessity. But i think i can live without it. I remember one time i left my phone at my my work and it was a weekend pa. It was really frustrating thinking who's call or messages are in. But at the same time it was refreshing to not check your pocket or purse time after time to see who message you.

hahaha! i can't imagine you getting nuts and anxious on who's calling you
i often see young kids too when i ride on jeepneys that they check or look at their cellphones every minute even though there's no message or call. it's already like a habit or mannerism

Hi Lucky,
Everyone knows how important cellphone to our daily life is. We need it mostly for communicate with people that we can reach or too far from us. It is a very important tool in case of emergency.
But I think I can live without it. I use my cellphone mostly to communicate with my families and friends. Ask there well being and where are they or what they are doing. Not big business or too important matters.

I can live without it too, but it's the only way i can check on my parents whether they are doing fine since my mother cannot use the internet and no telephone lines on their area. If I live with them, maybe i won't be needing any cellphone. happy mylotting^^;;

I can't live without my cellphone.It is a must for me.When I am not at home I call after every 1 hour to my parents to inform about me and when to reach home.I prefer talking by phone with my friends rather than to meet them at some places.Also I like to send messages most of the time.
I don't like carrying music players , digital cameras and laptop everywhere.So I bought Nokia N97 which serves all my needs like taking pictures and listening to music.Also for going through my emails and net browsing I use my cellphone.
People everywhere in the world are now addicted to mobile phones.Now very less people depend on letters to recieve information about their near and dear ones.All like the instant happenings.Without it life would be very difficult.

cellphones are always being enhanced and there's a new added feature every time. before, we can only use it for calling, then now sending text messages, then camera, then internet surfing. it is indeed a good innovation for people who are always on the go. i just hope one will not be so dependent on it. happy lotting^^;;

checking to see if anyone has called.The phone stays in her hand at all times.And she is 19.

i knew the same story with my ex-bf's older sister. she always freaks out whenever she goes out from the shower and realized she misplaced her cellphone and would be blaming everybody in the house. she always said "where is my cellphone, i'm waiting for an important message/call!" duh! hahaha!

Hey,
I don't think that anyone could live without a cell phone, but some people don't really need one. Especially if they don't have enough money, they wouldn't really want to talk people. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
