Mine do. every time i have received my money in my atm. it will not last that long. i don't know why. besides i don't earn that much it just seems money is too easy to spend. that it is for it to be lost and you can hardly notice that you almost run out of money in your savings when you were spending little by little. our spending really adds up so fast that we will just realize it when we almost run of money or just don't have any money any more in our savings. i keep promising myself that this month i will put away the money and i will not touch it but it does not happen. i just find always new reason to spend a little more till there is none left. but still now i just spend some money but not run out of money yet. i wonder for how many days will the money stay on my savings and then i have to wait to receive money again from earnings online.

I rarely have holes in my pocket as i already learn my lesson. from now on, I'"ll check first my pockets before putting it somewhere else. It is like a bygone back memories.. in not sewing it, it causes my wallet to fall. Then, I am riding a vehicle when I say to the diver to stop. When i am about to reach out to take my wallet it is not there. i ended up begging for fellow passengers to pay for my fare. it is really a difficult time for me and I hate to repeat the same mistakes again..

oh that would be frustrating not to find our money when we about to pay for our fares.

Oh my! same here, I myself actually save some money but there are many times that money just stays in my hands for just few days, Because of the bills that are due at the same time, or school tuition fee, and stuff that you can avoid but i myself still trying to lessen those payments, oh yeah credit card bills too, I'm planning to pay all of those CC bills by December and then cut it. so no more bills next year....hopefully

I have big hole in my pocket. No matter how I squeeze my money tight it will just slip out of my hands. Money doesn't seems to love me as it will go away quickly the moment it landed on my hands. Money has a close link with the emotions of agony and ecstasy. When you have money, you will never feel you have enough. If you have lost money, you wish you had appreciated it more when you did have it.

yes you have described how money goes with your post, yes i think i am an emotional spender. if there is emotional eater, there is emotional spender. cause i think that when i just feel sad and bad and i just feel the need to buy to fill that emptiness and that void inside of me. yes, it usually does help me forget that sadness inside me but it does give a big dent on my pocket afterward and my pocket is bleeding profusely.

Some times they do and sometimes they do not. I try to save whenever I can especially in todays economy. But there are times when I find that is hard to do. If I see something that I really want, I convince myself that I worked hard for it and I should get it. I view life that you only live once and you should enjoy it to the fullest so sometimes I allow my pocket to have a hole in it to make me happy.

yes i think that we really need to encourage ourselves more specially now money is hard to get and that we need to set goals always to save the amount we want to be able to buy somethings. but sometimes it is really tiring to save up money cause we really have to wait a lot or long time just to save enough. and i just hope that i have some good source of money so that i don't have to keep waiting a long time just to buy something i really want.

I try not to carry cash with me because I am more likely to spend it and not know where it went. If I use a check or debit card, I can track my spending through the bank. I know how easy it is to spend money, but sometimes you have to ask yourself, "Do I NEED this or do I WANT this?"

yes me too i only use debit card only also. but it usually goes empty fast also but at least i can still control my spending compared with credit card which gives a big temptation to buy thing beyond our means to pay. so it is just my problem on how to make my money stay on my debit card for a long time without touching it so i can save enough money for what i will like to buy in the near future.

Last time when I am still working, I just spend on the things that I like, I do spend my family members for a nice meal outside. It is not a worry, as by month end the salary will be in the account. But for the past 4 years I am full time housewife. SO to maintain my lifestyle of still go for saloon to cut hair, still go for movies and bring my son for fast food, I need to very creative and 'focus' on freebies So, what I did was get the 'free' newspaper which is only available from Monday - Friday, that's mean no more buying Newspaper. Inside this free newspaper got free coupon that you need to go early to queue for free movies. Since I am not working, I will go and queue...and watch free movie, earlier than the actual screening date. At times they even give free premium movie merchandise like backpack, alarm clock etc (save again) At times I will redeem my credit card points to McDonald vouchers, KFC vouchers or some other food vouchers. Last time I will redeem electrical goods, but now I think redeem food vouchers is better, since everyday we need to eat. I will take free shuttle from my place to the mall that provided free shuttle/bus. When really out of cash, I will bring my son for the fast food, for myself I will just eat whatever that the supermarket promoters offer like free sample of noodle, coffee, fresh milk, sample of sausage, cheese, biscuits, yoghurt, pizza, ice cream, fried egg, yoghurt drinks, nuggets...normally they are plenty during weekends...it is like eating buffet but at a very small amount...good for health and free.. Nowadays my sister will proxy me to attend AGM, they normally will provide free food and vouchers too like Kenny Rogers, movie tickets, depend on what the company are doing, if they produce sugar, then we will get free 'marble cake, sugar, flour, oil etc. Save on groceries too. Some company manufacturing drinks like Nestle, then we got free packet drink, milk powder, ice cream etc. If the company is a supermarket chain then they will give free shopping vouchers. If it is a bread company, we will get free butter, bread, bicsuits and cakes. Register yourself with survey company, at time they will call us for 'focus group' on discussing consumer products, credit card, cars, environment. If you attend all this survey, they provide free meal like pizza, after the survey token is give like RM80-200..it is quite a good income...but not many we can join because it has a cooling period too. All the best, if there is a will there is a way...like all of us now on online income :)

besides wise spending i think self control also is needed. cause compulsion to spend is very much strong in me many times and so that is the culprit i think . and not because i am not aware on how to save money. i have read books and listened to advices on tv about how to save money. i think it is now the time to practice what i have learned.
