I am a single parent of two beautiful children, they are 7 and 4. I have been raising them on my own since my 4 year old was a month old. I am used to it now. I just hope I am doing a good job.

I am sure you are. No one is perfect and we are going to make mistakes but hopfully everything will work out for the good in the end.

This is true. I guess one major difference is all decisions are all yours to make alone. I think rasing kids is a challenge!

Well i was single parent for the first 12 months of my sons life, his father or should i say sperm donor lol left me when he found out i was pregnant and he has never had anything to do with me or my son since, I am now with a wonderful man and we have been together for almost 3 and a half years, he treats me the way i should be treated and most important he treats my son as if he was his own and i think this is extremly important when going into a relationship and one of you or both of you have children from a previous relationship! I have raised my oldest daughter for 8 years on my own. I met a wonderful guy 2.5 years ago and he is who I want to be with, he is good to my oldest and we now have a daughter together but life situations and making money keep us 531 miles apart. I hate it. But I hope it all turns out well in the end. Good luck to you!

I am a single mommy raising a beautiful girl, 18 months old. Her name is Gionna. It is tough being a single parent but I would never take her back for the world. Hopefully, she will be able to learn from my mistakes when she gets older and not have babies out of wedlock. But even if she does, I will always love her to pieces. She is my reminder that the world isn't always such a bad place.

Thats GREAT! I am glad you choose to keep her! I hope my kids learn from my mistakes too. I had my first one when I was 18 and made it through college and have a good job now but its still a struggle. Never give up!

No its not. But its all I know really. I graduated high school and then found out I was pregnant. Makes you grow up really fast but also bad that I never had that freedom to be young and crazy. I always feel like I am missing out on something.
