me and my husband got addicted once on bidding and selling items on ebay.. it's started when we bought a nokia phone at ebay. we got it at a very good deal! we saved a couple of money rather than buying in outlets.. so whenever we would want to buy something we would prefer searching that item at ebay! up until now were still doing it! and we also sell stuffs now at ebay too! C: its so addicting! haha C: try browsing ebay's site! you might like to buy some items too! and you may even get it for a good deal too! C:

I agree that buying and selling on ebay is addicting and it becomes more so when you have sold your first item that you feel is not worth the price at which it got sold. You get a feeling of, "I can sell anything" and thats what gets you hooked up. Thats the reason why the ebay people have come up with 5 free monthly listings. If you want to get out of this, try not opening the ebay site for a week or so. Also you should not have any listings during this time. You might get cured, not that I mean to say addicting to ebay is a bad thing. :)

Hello Anirus, I agree with you. I have sold some used clothing at ebay too. I still remember my first experience in Ebay! I listed some of my baby out grow clothing at Ebay. I put it under bid item. I was so happy when some one started to buy the things. What made me excited was More and more bidders came in for the thing! End up the all 4 clothing were sold at a very good price. From there on I kept busy searching high and low at my wardrobe to get some used stuff but in good condition and sell at Ebay! This is how I have been hooked at Ebay some times ago. But I never came across the 5 free monthly listings. What is that about? Happy Mylotting and glad to meet you here, Anirus!

It seems that you earn a lot with ebay, otherwise how did you buy something on it with no money Balance expenditure to your income,I think this is a unshakable rule for every buyer. But Chinese usually use Taobao further more than Ebay Buy something through internet is the trend of the times

I do agree with you. It is addicting especially when you see that someone won or brought something that you did post for sale. Like myself when I first did it I was so happy I was like a kid in a candy store. I went around my house looking for things that I no longer need or used, I had a ball doing that because I also realize that I was able to clean up some the stuff without trashing it. So if you really think about it ebay is a great recycling website because it helps to keep as they say somebody else's trash and another persons treasure.

I have been hearing about ebay since long time but I've never visited this site yet.Maybe by now I'll start to check out what they are selling about, perhaps I could find what I'm looking for.Because currently I'm engaged into jewelry business which I found out sellable. So good news this for me.I might get addicted into it too.

Hi, I agree with you its a great site for buying and selling but sometimes many of the items are overpriced. I have a great tool to save more money on items on ebay.... auctionbloopers.com its a fantastic website. Say for example you wanted to buy a sofa, you go onto the auctionbloopers website type in sofa it will take you direct to the ebay site in your country with mispellings of the item you want. People dont tend to find mispelled items. I got a brand new pair of hair straightners and hair curlers for 99p the other day and they were spelled wrong! Happy MyLotting!

I've only bought a few things on ebay and I've always gotten really great deals. I use to sell alot on there but the cost to do so kept going up. If you didn't sell your items for a decent amount of money than it really stopped being worth doing at all. I think if I had something that I know would sell for sure than I might still sell it on ebay. It just got too expensive for me to do on a regular basis. I wasn't making enough money for it to be worth the amount of time it took to do.

Definitely. I'm not addicted to buying things on eBay (unless you can do the "Buy it Now" option or whatever it's called - I think waiting for auctions and competing with others for the highest bid is really obnoxious and horrible!)..But I think I used to be addicted to selling on it. I tried to have a garage sale, and when a lot of my nice, brand name things didn't sell..I was really upset && decided to put it all on eBay. I probably made $150 in a couple of short weeks - but they also charged me quite a bit of their fees, which was unfortunate. I've slowly but surely strayed away from eBay since. Their monthly invoices are a pain in the butt, I won't lie about that much. I wish they would just deduct it from your payments or something like that. It's annoying to have to worry about having a "bill" at the end of the month. I tried out CraigsList after that, but that was kind of annoying and a hassle. Now I just bring my unwanted clothes to consignment shops, which is like a new addiction to me. .

I do have an Ebay account but I have not tried buying and selling items there. It seems that I am not getting a fairly good deal since I am not able to see the item personally. But since you said that you could save a fairly good money on it, I will try to see for myself if there are good things there and will see for myself.

Yes, I do like to surf on Ebay everyday. I like to look for great deals on the Ebay site. There is a huge difference in price compared to when you buy the exact same item at a retail store. If you don't mind waiting for a few days for item, then I would recommend Ebay to buy so you can save money. I tried selling on Ebay but wasn't very successful so I quit doing it. I do enjoy giving it a try they give me 5 free listings every month.

Yes, I totally agre with you. I originally started on ebay selling some old stuff I no longer wanted or needed and I was doing really well I made about 200 bucks or so in my first two months. Then after a little time I started searching some things that are tomy liking and very soon I found myself bidding and purchasing items on ebay. I find ebay great for buying. You can get such good deals there. As for selling sometimes though. I find some stuff I sell doesnt go for what I wanted it to go for...or I sometimes will put an item up with a starting price of .99 cents and no one even bids. Then I fell like Ive watsed my money listing it. I definetely like buying on ebay better than selling although making some extra cash selling stuff helps me make purchases on ebay. SAo yep Im absolutely an Ebay Addict!!!!!
