I'm just curious if there are any Avon or Mary Kay Representatives here and how being a Rep. works. Do you make decent money selling the products? Is it time consuming? Do you have to book parties or do you get your sales just from book orders and website sales? Do you have your own website for selling or do you use the same site as other Reps?
I also was wondering how many of you are customers of either company. Do you prefer Avon or MaryKay? Do you buy a lot of products from them? Would you buy them from a stranger or do you already have your own Representative?

I am an Avon Representative and a customer, as I love their products. It is as time consuming as you want to make it. I make my own schedule and I even make sales 24/7 from my Avon online store... http://www.youravon.com/teresayager
You do not have to book parties, although you could if you wanted to. I make my sales through brochure and web site sales mainly.
For a little more than the price of a lipstick you can start your own business with Avon. It is very easy to get started and Avon supplies you with everything you need to get started and succeed in your business. I started selling Avon just to earn a little extra spending money of my own, and now I have an added income for my family.
If you or anyone else is interested in learning more... just visit the website I mentioned above.

I am not a rep. Nor have I ever been one. But I have been a customer of both. I really like having someone I know. As they will know my buying habits and such. Than point out things I like or may be my interest. Where a stranger tends to try and sell me things I am not interest in, thus losing a potential sale.
