Put me down for some potato salad and some coleslaw. It is not a real BBQ with out those 2 side dishes. Someone needs to bring a fruit salad or something too. Maybe just some sliced watermelon.

Giant sugar cookie topped with cream cheese and fresh fruit, sounds good to me. You are making me want one now. I have the stuff to make the sugar cookie, but I need the rest. Darn....shopping in the morning I guess....

I love deviled eggs. Veggie trays are always good too. I have a gallon of Ranch dressing that I got from Sam's last week. I will bring it for the veggies.

I'm bringing pot stickers from my favorite Chinese restaurant in downtown. I hope everyone would enjoy some good pork and vegetable dumpling after they eat all the grilled food.

Yes, it's made with cabbage and ramien noodles. It's great for picnics because there's no mayo in the dressing. It's oil, vinegar, and the seasoning from the ramien.

I have some favorite foods I will fix for pot luck meals. I like to make baked spaghetti, green bean casserole, banana pudding, macaroni and cheese and no bake cookies. Usually I will contribute a main dish and dessert or a side item and dessert when I go to a pot luck gathering.

I would like to bring the dessert. I am pretty good at making desserts. I think I will bring my Million Calorie Bars. They are so good!!! Of course, brownies are always good at a BBQ too. Maybe I'll bring both!

This sounds like a lot of fun. First of all, we will be bringing ourselves, because a pot luck or bbq just isn't very much fun if you aren't there. Then, I think our family will be bringing fruit cobbler (probably peach because it is my favorite) to share. Perhaps we will need some toys to play with in the yard for the kids as well, so I will bring some of those along too. Oh, and I always bring our own drinks when we go to a pot luck, so we will have a cooler and some ice along with us as well.

Pot lucks could be very fun events. It should be the time to show everyone what you are capable of in the kitchen. Instead of everyone bringing the tradional barbecue. Try bringing your specialty that you enjoy making. If there are going to different cultures there. Then you should bring something from your culture, this way everyone can experience where you are from. Happy lotting.

I think I will bring some fruits...it is the most easiest food, no preparation needed and need not to cook too. (Just Kidding) Although I never been to pot luck BBQ, but I guess I will bring some fruit or vege salad. I will also make some fried dumpling or wanton for the event.
