If a friend of yours will ask to to teach him / her something , and he will understand so hard.. you`ll have the necessary patiance to teach him/her .. and explain untill he will understand all you was teaching him ?

Sometimes I am not as patient as I should be around our grandkids if they bicker. They are little and get bored easily but I don't see them on a regular basis. They live in another state. It's so sad they live so far from us. Well I think as I get older I don't have the daily stressors that I did when our kids were younger. My time is my own now and I have the freedom to do whatever I like. That's a big benefit as we age. I've been a member for 3 years and enjoy being on myLot which explains the mega discussions.

It`s good to help your friends, and when you have patience to make them understand , i think that really makes your relation better . You`re a happy person if you are more patient as the age goes on . I though that when you get older, it`s the other side, you`ll lose the patience . i can see you`re patience, after your ranking on mylot too . You`ve posted more that 6200 ? WoW ! that`s something .

I think I havetons of patience. When I teach somebody, I try to make it sound like I'm teaching a 5th grader. I have to explain all the basics and everything. If they don't get it, I'll just tell them to keep trying and encouraging words that make them persevere. Whatever it is, math, sports, classes, anything. I have patience not just teaching but learning and playing sports. I take a lot of time devoted to learning. I used to learn piano and guitar from the intenet and from my library. No one really taught me, but I had enough patience to learn new songs and what each chord means. I learn a lot of sports over the years and I can conclude that hard work really pays off. I hope this answers your question and have a good day!

wow ! you really did your homework . i`m amaised of what did you just told me . It`s amaising that you could learn playing piano and guitar from the internet , all by yourself . For that, you have all my respect . i can just to admire your eforts for teaching others what you`ve learned by yourself . i think that it`s remarcable . If there will be some people just like you, we would be all better and it will be just peace . Thanks for answering

Sometimes it takes a LOT of patience to teach others what they want to learn. YES, normally I am very patient when trying to teach somebody something. I don't mind if they ask questions. I just prefer that it not be the same question over & over. Even when they ask the same question, I just try & find a different way to explain it. I've only tried to help a few people who just don't understand & YES I was frustrated instead of patient with them. But those people are few & far between!!!

i must say that i really want and i really love to teach others something that i know, or something that they really want or deserve to know . Since i was young i loved to help other , to teach them what i know, and so on . In that way , i made a lot of good friends, helping them understand something or just helping them in their problems .

I think I am patient. In my line of work I have to be. I'm a teacher, and without patience, I would not last long. Patience is an important skill for one to have.

Just what we need , a teacher . If you say that the secret in teaching it`s the patience, i really belive that know . But you can tell us what`s the undoubly secret of teaching ? What should do someone to teach other something easier ? Do you have a method whitch you apply when they really don`t understand ? Or how you do if some of them will not understand what you wanna say ?

Hi Delkar!
According to one of the saint of india "it is curse to teach an idiot". So if opposite person is not intelligent then that experiece would become irritating for me. I worked as a teacher in past ;sometime it was pleasure for me when more percent of student were very good in study and sometime it was headache when most of student were unable to understand.Actually it is very noble job of world but can be headache when teaching idiot.
I losse my patience when teaching an idiot. I cannot bare idiots. I am ready to teach intelligent people who accept my knowledge. have a nice day!! Happy mYlotting!! ![](/Content/images/emotes/happy.gif)

Teaching is an art and being patient is not enough. I think you need to have the necessary skill or you must employ techniques that will make teaching and learning easy. But I agree that patience is the big part of that but it is not all patience if you are hitting the right target in making someone learn fast and effective.

i think that even if you don`t know too much about teaching , you can teach someone if you are a patient guy,and a calm one too , because the voice represent a big part of the teaching technique , you can teach someone what they really need to learn . So, i really think that you should be patient and with a good voice if you wanna teach someone .. anything . you must know a little psyhology and you`ll be the best in this domain. So, DO YOU HAVE PATIANCE ? when you`re teaching someone that they wanna learn?

I am really not a patient person. It's perhaps my worst feature. I can't wait for things, I always expect people to reply to me right away and that things come through the mail at most one week after ordering them. If it goes beyond that, I usually unleash my bad mood on others, can't help it :)
