I can't really say that I'm a movie buff; I just watch movies as they come and go. But just like everyone else, I've movies that I consider the my faves. Here's my list:
1. Love, Actually. (a British comedy about love and its many iterations)
2. My Sassy Girl (Korean Original, a romantic-comedy about fate)
3. Equilibrium (The best sci-fi movie for me)
4. The Kid (What would you say if you meet your 9-year old self? An comedy.)
5. Groundhog Day (What if you could relive the same day over and over again? Comedy)

The Final Countdown - great SF movie, love time travel and this one gets it RIGHT.
Your, Mine and Ours - the original one, good Lucy Ball, and a great family comedy.
Somewhere in Time - really nice love story, tho I have since seen some other good ones.
Castaway - just because it is so good.
Three Bites of the Apple, because, well because of David McCallum playing the romantic lead... **sigh**
