How often do you wash your clothes?

Some of my colleagues wash their clothes once in a week. They just put all dirty clothes there and wash all in the weekend. Have you ever try that? I never do that, and I can hardly bear to put my dirty clothes over night.

Hi karen, just same as you. I couldn't bear to have dirty clothes overnight. You know those clothes with sticky sweat especially the ones from my son and husband after exercise. They would give some unpleasant smell as well if passing by the laundry basket I prefer to take the trouble to wash them daily. It's rather easy that I just have to dump the clothing into the washing machine and then press the buttons. I would hang the clean clothes under the sun later on instead of putting them in the dryer. Yeah, this could cut down the usage of electricity. It's more friendly to the environment as well Happy posting

You are very much welcome karen. It’s so nice to have the opportunity to chat with a friend from china In the south part ... Is it somewhere around Guangdong? Yeah, the piling up clothes day after day would make our house to look rather messy and indecent. From your good habit I know you are a diligent person Here in my country, we have sunny days all the year round. The weather would turn a bit cold during rainy day. We usually would have several hours of rain most of the time. Sometimes it rains the whole day. I could get the clothes dried only using the dryer Have a nice day!

Hello karen, I had laundry basket for my kids, each one had their own basket inside their rooms. And i do washing twice a week,or depends on the weather. When it is so hot in our country, kids change clothes too often and sometimes they just throw clothes at the basket wet with sweat...so,it would become smelly. And it made their rooms stinks grrr..esp my two sons. So,during summer or hot weather i wash clothes more often.

Hi Jaiho, nice to meet you again. Yes, kids sweat a lot. My son is 11 months old, we have to take bath for him for 2-3 times everyday, or he's body is sticky.

Hi Killersss, Nice to hear from you. In China, few family has maids, unless they are wealthy, and some of them will hire household helpers.

I think it is just different lifestyle, some people like to have their laundry once a week to save the electricity and seom people prefper to keep their houseload daily...It would be fine just he or she feels comfortable...

I wash my clothes daily. I do not like to keep soiled clothes till the weekend. But yes there are certain expensive clothes we have to accumulate and wash them with care.

Actually I wash my clothes once a week too... Since I put the dirty clothes in an order, my room looks clean too, so I think washing clothes once a week is acceptable.

hi, actually i wash my clothes every weekend because the only time that i can wash them all is during my rest days, and because weekdays i am busy with my work,go to work so early and late to go home in the evening,so really hard for me to find time for both morning and evening.
