Well, I'm also in the computer field, I guess there are good fields available out there. But I think right now the demand is more in Medical.

Whoa! That was fast! I didn't expect anyone to respond in a minute. If I were to go into the medical field, I would do pharmacy, but I don't feel strong in that area.

Because you are still at high school, it would be ideal to learn computer programming. You can create software applications, web site programming, business applications, etc. It seems to be a ever evolving field, and also in its vast range of applications. This can lead to good employment in the IT industry. This is what I should have done 20 odd years ago, rather than studying chemistry which is not much help to me today. So I am learning html programming/scripting for web site creation at online tutorials, and asking questions at forums, etc...

Computer Programming is awesome! Sorry there isn't much posted on it yet so when I found your discussion I was very pleased :)
I currently go to DigiPen Institute of Technology which is a school for computer programming, mainly programming video games. It's awesome, I love it and the job placement rate is pretty damn good, over 80%. My game teacher(every year you make a game in your game class) said most people who go into the gaming field are no longer in it 10 years later because they want to explore new avenues and they can because of all the experience and skills you learn from making games. As for this field though you'd need to be strong in math as well a just a smidgen of physics. I believe the field starts off at about 45k a year for the average person.
Essentially the answers is Yes, and computers are awesome.

Yeah. I took up computer science and now, voila! I am a programmer by profession. It is a good course, but you have to toil and sweat to be able to succeed. You needed to study hard and one day, you'll reap the fruits of your sacrifices and hardships...! Good luck!
