Entertainment Weekly picked A Hard Day's Night as the best Beatles song. Do you agree?

No way. I mean, it's still a great song, but I don't think it makes my top 20. It's nowhere close to Hey Jude, Rain, Yesterday, Help, Day in the Life, Something, etc.

As a former Beatlemaniac, I have recently viewed some Beatles videos and songs and the one thing I noted was the exuberant playing of the songs. The songs are very easy to like, very accessible. Hard Day's Night is a fun song, but definitely not the best of the Beatles. Maybe, I ve heard it too many times.

Hi! Talking about the Beatles best songs, is totally the matter of taste. I'd prefer "Hey, Jude", because this is calm and thoughtful. But when I'm up to something active, there is nothing best than "A Hard Day's Night".
I've noticed that media changes it's opinion very often regarding that question. For example, on VH1 music channel there is "U2 Top 10" nearly every week, and the song at the first place is always different.

I have always preferred Hey Jude as my favorite Beatles tune, but have never considered A Hard Day's Night as their best. Yes, it's the same way with my fave band - the Kinks. One day it's You Really Got Me, next day it's Waterloo Sunset. i guess we all have our favorites.
