Hi fellow mylotters, I need your help on this one. Paella is one of the popular dish in our country although I think its really a spanish dish (I'm not sure). Eventhough it is popular only a few knows how to make it, since I think it would really cost someone's time to prepare for this dish. I don't even know a friend of mine who knows how to do this since a lot of my friends don't know how to cook in the first place. haha
Anyway, I really love to cook and I usually do some cooking at home. But I don't how to make paella and I really really miss this one. So I would greatly appreciate it if someone could teach me how. Plus if you know how to make it in much shorter time but without compromising the quality and the taste, that is even better.

I think that more people could respond in full if you could please explain to us what this Paella dish is. You believe it to be a Spanish dish so that leads me to believe it's spicy, but is it? I would be happy to find recipes for you.
Here is info that I have found that haven't skimmed or read over
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paella
Please, I mean no offense by asking you to clarify.
Here is also a link to easy ways to make this dish

THESE ARE NOT REFERRAL LINKS!
Have a wonderful day.

Hi somecowgirl, don't worry no offense taken hehe. I know you just wanted to help and I apologize for not giving a clearer detail about the paella. Well, its a rice based meal and I think they put some tomato paste into it (again I'm not sure). Then there's a lot of seafood toppings on it like shrimps, crabs, muscles, clams. Aside from seafoods there's hard boiled egg on top (sliced, of course hehe), I think some people even put chicken on it. It's a one of a kind dish since it's the only dish that I know that could have this much toppings but still perfect as to blending is concern. I guess that's the reason why only few knows how to cook this dish, since there's too much labor on making it..

It does seem that way! I hope the links I have provided for you are helpful! I think that it takes so long to make because of all the toppings. If I may suggest, you could limit the toppings or make some of the toppings the night before so as to limit the time in the kitchen the day of the actual preparation of this dish.

I think it will take me 1 year to make this hahaha. But trying to make some of the toppings the night before is a really a good tip if I don't want to get stressed out or something. I might really do that since this is the first time I'll be making this recipe I want all the ingredients to be there as much as possible. I could just try to lessen some of the toppings the next time. I just sure hope that it's worth it hehe. Anyway, I'll also be checking the sites that you have provided. =)
