My way of tackling some sad feelings is singing. If that doesnt help, I pick horror movies, and I put myself in the shoes of the hero. I ask myself, would I do what he did for the leading lady? The answer is never yes. :( So I know that if the leading lady was what I desired, then I would leave her to die. ha ha. But true. I do use horror movies to get out of blues.

Hi there!
I don't think killing feelings is that easy especially if ur not made that way.So its difficult to make u what ur not especially if ur trying to do it overnight.
As for me even if i try to be cold to people i wont tbe able too.Because im a sensitive person and even if ive tried my hardest cold doesn't want to fit me
Cheers!

Hi there!
It is not understandable that why do you wish to supress your feelings. I suppose that our thoughts and feelings are for expressing ourselves and we should feel afraid of shy of expressing ourselves. Supressing our emotions could be counter-productive and harmful for us.

I find that writing or expressing myself through some kind of art form helps me quite a bit. Art is basically people's experiences, emotions, and feelings all put into an expression to help them show the world what they were feeling or what they were seeing or thinking of. Writing helps me out a lot and I get addicted to it quite easily because I enjoy my writings so much.

Keeping to yourself what you truly feel is not being honest to yourself. pretending to feel one thing but actually feeling the other is like fooling yourself. You don't fool people by acting the other way around. You fool yourself. You don't gain by doing so, so be honest to yourself. If you think being honest with what you feel won't hurt people, then do it. However, there are instances when we need to keep our real feelings hidden to protect other people's feelings also. But as long as you're not hurting someone, be honest.

From my experience, suppressing my feelings only makes me more angry. I like to let it out by walking it off, talking to a friend or by getting a massage.
I honestly cannot harden my heart specially to those that I love unless that love has been re[placed by hatred.
