Does anyone here have fibromyalgia?

I have fibro. I feel pretty good when I am pregnant though. As far as remedies, I eat a great diet, exercise and take melatonin at bedtime. It helps me sleep and makes me feel better. I have used PT, tens units, pain pills, sleep aids, protien powder, and a number of other things with limited to no improvement. For me, a 60 plus percent raw diet plus moderate excercise and plenty of rest seems to be about the best. It is different for everyone though.

I have a friend that has a severe case of fibroymyalgia. it was so bad she actually moved from montana to memphis for a year so that she could go to a specialist there. Now she pretty much just has to lay in bed and rest all day long. It looks so miserable! She uses a heating pad a lot.

I don't have any home remedies, however it is linked with many auto-immune disorders. There is another disorder, Hidradenitis, that has many people with fibromyalgia as well. I don't know how they are all linked but they are.
