Does anyone work with Associated Content?

Has anyone on Mylot taken the time to work on Associated content? I've been working with them for about 3 years. It took me a while to learn the system and actually earn a steady stream of income but once I did I kept the money rolling. The one thing I'm not sure about is the article paying scheme. I've tried to figure out how they base their pay when it comes to article submissions. No matter how long the article I write, I still get less than what I felt was deserved. That is about the only thing I don't like about Associated content. I like the fact that they are the only article submission company that allows you to get paid for your articles as well as keep half the royalties that your content accumulates from traffic. Does anyone else know a company like Associated content because I have yet to come across another company with the same setup.

This is awesome. It's great that you are doing well with AC. I like the site very much too and rather new there, but I'm enjoying every moment I have with it. The friends are cool, the pv not bad and although I'm not eligible for the upfront, I will still stick to it. There are lots of professional writers over there and their writings are like wow. It's like going to a Writing school with lots of pros around and we can just learn by the pick of an article. The library of articles there are just so wondrous and I'm totally in awe. I love this site too, thanks for sharing with us your wonderful success. And hopefully you'll continue to have more success with it..

Yup, that's my intention in the first place..to have an outlet to release my writing mania and I don't consider myself a professional writer too (and I think that works best when we are stress-free and just write for fun)..the idea would come superfluously.. I don't mind about the upfront but if there's a change for international, I'd grab it.. don't have, I'm fine, if have, I'll take it..

Oh so you must be from a different country. I wonder when they are going to allow upfront payments for EVERYONE!. I'm glad that you got a chance to experience Associated content because despite the little stuff they are one of the best websites around. You can definitely learn alot from the writers there, I agree. I hope you stick around there, you might find major success with your PV if you stick to it long enough.

I visited the website and i felt it's a little difficult for me to make money for now. I joined dooyoo and ciao. it's already a headache to me. I felt very tired to write reviews now. So I gave me three months holiday already and I don’t know when I will finish the holiday. But I wish one day I can write in English fluently and I can make decent money from my writing.

You should try rewriting articles that might be an easier step for you. You don't have to really be great with the English language. You should try text messaging, there is money in that business.

I've never worked with this site but I'd like to know how good it is. Is it better than Mylot ? Do you make about $ 100 per month or much less. Do contact me and let me know. I'm desparate for an additional income.

It depends on where you live. You can make extra money through AC if you live in the US but if you live outside I'm not sure how well that will work out for you. But you can PM me if you are in need to make extra money a month because I happen to be hiring And AC is different than mylot. See Mylot is a place to socialize not really earn an extra income. If you happen to spend your life on here and earn something that hey it is what it is. But to have a steady income is what AC offers, as well as myself.

Admire your 3 years for them.I always think persistence is very extraordinary and persistence will bring you benefit in the end I want to ask you some questions about AC.Do they accept any member from different country? And how is the payments? How do they calculate your rewards? Each articles must get its payments indeed?Everyone can register into this site without limitiation? Sorry for my dropping a lot

I have not worked with Assocaited Content much. I published a few articles with them, which I then double posted to helium. Sadly, AC doens't seem to pay much for the kind of things I write. They do not pay for book reviews, for example. Or for political writings. I did get paid up front from AC twice, both times for articles about pet care, but each time I only made a few dollars. Another problem is that my works on AC dont' seem to get any hits. I have made about fifty to sixty dollars in revenue from helium just from hits on the articles I've written, but I've never seen a single penny in revenue from AC. I don't know why my articles get read on Helium but not on AC. Is there a way to increase your traffic on AC? Because it seems that no one ever visits my articles there- I don't think I've ever gotten a penny aside from the two upfront payments I've gotten, whereas I get about ten dollars every month from my Helium articles. It frustrates me because it seems that AC has such low pay for revenue. What kind of articles do you write for AC? I have heard that they do not pay for reviews. I have wondered a few times whether to try writing for AC again, but they have not been very good to me so far. I like the set-up of AC much better than Helium, but I don't like the fact that they pay so low.

Hi Good to know thatyou work with associated content, I did not know, if they really pay. now through your message, i feel they have paid you, so I will also believe and start making some real contributions to earn from them , Thanks. Do tell me if you get some more information. Do they pay through online account like paypal or directly by banks.. Is it payble for Indians too. I mean there are many sites which have only selected countries..Please detail about this.

If you live in a different country other than the US they don't pay you upfront for articles. You can only earn through page views. Which in most cases you should try writing for Triond because Triond is much better in that area than AC

I've been signed up with AC since 2006 though it wasn't until last year that I started writing on a more consistant basis. I'm always excited when one of my articles get published, even if it's one I've done for "free" (no upfront). I have been doing some of their assignments and I find them hard because I have such a difficult time concentrating and focusing myself enough on the article's subject to complete it within their time frame. I would love to be able to do 9 articles a day like you do but there is just no way for me to do it. My adult daughter also writes for AC and she does maybe 3 articles a day. I don't see how you guys do it though it is wonderful that you can! I don't know of any other company like AC. I've looked around at Helium and some lens things but I didn't want to take the time to understand it because of my focusing problem.

I totally understand, just find something that you like to write about as a whole. And just write articles that way. They don't have to be long, 400 words at the max. 9 articles sounds like a lot but I don't sit at the computer all day long. I do 3 first part of the day, 3 middle part of the day and 3 the last part of the day. Simple as one, two, three. It's tiresome at times but hey money is money.

I do work with AC and I love it. I enjoy the fact that I can write about things that interest me and that they will pay me upfront for it and I continually earn from what work I have done. I have been there about 3 months and I plan to continue to write there for awhile. I had tried Helium but I didn't seem to make anything with it. I have made some good money with AC for the writing that I have done.

Well be happy with what you get, really. Associated Content is probably the best paying "low-end" writing site out there, really. It's also probably the most stable and trustworthy. You could always try jumping it up a notch, I know various places with databases of article-writing places that pay wayyyyy better then AC but they require a bit more professional of writing but at the same time there are some that don't require too high-detail of writing. That's the other thing with bigger places then AC is you don't really get to choose what you're writing, the companies usually pick it for you. The next best bet if you're looking to earn better without having to run all over the place is asking local publishers of magazines and the like if they're looking for writers. I know some places around where I am that pay about $200-$300 per article which is obviously wayyyy better then AC but they're looking for much higher quality of writing. Oh, and I was curious. What would you say your average you earn per article on AC is, and your rough monthly earnings from them? Just trying to get an idea as I wanted to write a bit for AC and earn some money & I haven't a clue how much I would actually earn. Oh, also a good idea of how many articles you write a month & how time-consuming it is too would be helpful as well :)

I'm totally with you on that one. I've become satisfied with what I have for now but I plan on moving on eventually. Considering the fact that I'm not the greatest writer in the world, AC has done me major justice. Believe me when I say, they don't have to pay me anything for the articles that I submit but they do. When I started I put myself on a schedule. I would write 9 articles a day, in a block of 3. 3 articles would take me an hour and a half to write. Each article earned me $4. I would make $36 a day which would earn me $216 for the week I had to slow down on the article writing because of my schedule and my career. But for the most part, I was making good extra income with Associated content. I think it's more or less wanting something new and refreshing.

I have written for them. I believe they have about 30 of my articles. While I would like to get paid more by them, I am glad that every month I get money for all of my views. It is not a whole lot, but every little bit helps these days.

I totally agree, if you are in need of making extra money. It isn't going to make you rich BUT if you actually work and make it your main income you can make a nice supplemental income. There was a time where the money I made from Associatedcontent played as a part time job.

I have been writing for Associated Content since may of this year, and I am not too crazy about the way that they pay for articles, but I keep writing for them. It is one source of income that helps out in these times. One other site that I write for is called textbroker, and it is a newer writing site. Unlike Associated Content, they do a writer skill test to find out how well you write, and base your pay off of it. After you submit your first five articles, you will have a block put onto your account and they will reevaluate your skills, and either lower or raise your star rating. For example: since I am a 3 star writer, I get paid more than a 1 or 2 star writer, although I can still write articles that fall into the ranks. Ratings go to a level 5 ranking. They do not pay like Associated content, but do pay Twice a month as long as you have an account balance of 10.00. If you really are looking for ways to make more money writing Articles, then you may want to check this site at Textbroker. com

Thank you for your response, it was extremely informative and I love informative responses. But any whoo,I use to like Associated content but it just seems like they are dropping the price on how much they pay for articles. It's a ok form of income but after a while it just becomes old and I get tired of doing the same thing. I've never heard of textbroker.com but I will check it out because it counds interesting. What type of articles do they take? Do they allow product reviews because thats what I'm best at?

Join this site, tried to submit other article I wrote, and all got rejected. I really and not liking this site, as they are way to strict on what you write, and also, as I am not an American, this is no point in writing for this site. There are much better sites that pay more if you can't receive up front payment, but I guess an American like you, it is worth it.

It's associatedcontent.com. It's a place that pays you to write about almost anything (article wise). You can check it out at your own discretion.
