Well, I'm tired of searching the internet for legit ways to make money. It seems like the only really legit online job is: Blogging! So, I've decided to officially try this out. I told myself I'd try this a few months ago, but it seems so...scary. I haven't written an essay/article in a long time, and am a bit intimidated by everything. THe one thing that is holding me back the most: ideas. Give me an idea, and about a day or two, and I can (probably) write up a pretty good paper on it. But coming up with my own, that's the problem. What am I supposed to write about? I don't want to make my blog about just one topic, so what do I do? I'm really in need of some guidance here, and would love any tips for a blogging newbie like myself. Also, if anyone is willing to actually help me with this blog, please don't hesitate to contact me. I need all the help I can get.

While I can't suggest what you should blog about, because being able to come up with content for your blog need's to be at least a hobby if not a passion. As such, you should be blogging about something you do as a hobby or have a passion for. As for writing about just one topic, you don't have to create a single niche blog. but that does tend to be the most profitable. But I can suggest you read my guide found on my profile. "How to blog:Free things your log must have" (link is on profile, right side in the lighter yellow box) It'll give you all the stuff you need to have on your blog in addition to the content.

Thanks a bunch for your comment. Like I said in my response to the post above yours, I immediately started writing down ideas when I read your response. Well since I love music, and have been really into for a while now, I thought I'd go with that. I've got quite a few ideas that I could implement now and in the future. I'll check the link you were talking about, thanks.

It is usually good to write about what you know, so I would write about your life and what you are doing, and how long you have been doing it etc. You could write a blog about the process of writing a blog and how it has affected your life. I think people like to read truthful things.

Find something you love to talk about and use it for your blog. I see you like music so start with that and expand. Fashion is a big thing right now as well as make-up and how to apply it correctly, what shades to use and hair styles to accent your facial features. These will appeal to the teenagers as well as the older crowd. If you need help changing your blog, like the background(outside on left and right) or some other things like your header, let me know and I will help you. I am also a proofreader of websites and blogs so let me know when you get your first article up and I will do a quick scan for mistakes at no cost. You may want to download some e-books about blogging to learn more. You will find some here http://itsall4free.webs.com If any links do not work please let me know. Best of luck Kowgirl

Write a blog based on a niche, that way, you can have more regular visitor than write everything under the sun under one blog. And make sure you able to maintain it regularly. It hard work at the beginning and by the end of the day, you going to enjoy the fruits of your labour. Good luck.

Hi jeneias, I also just started my own blog last Saturday with things that I passionate with and right now still trying to figure out the best layout for my blog to make it look clean, simple, but shows a lot of information. I really want to know some things about HTML editor as I want to widen my entry layout; the default template for each entry is too small, meanwhile my blog is about fashion editorials which usually have a large size. After you create blog, post it here on myLot. It is allowed to post url in the discussion as long as it not a referral link to join something. My blog is http://fashionmagazineunfolded.blogspot.com, in case anybody here wants to check it out:)
