Now a days many net books are coming in the market. The price range is around 20000 Indian rupees. All these net books are coming with 1.6 Intel atom processor and 1 gb of RAM.
I think the net books life is too short. Because currently most of the software requires more than 2 Ghz processor and 2 GB of RAM. In the coming 6 months we may feel that the netbook which will not be able to install any new software. So how do you feel. Do you think it is worth to go for it or paying another 5 or 6 thousand more and go for laptops with dual core.

I have an acer net book and I have owned it for over 3 years. It works well. I guess it depends on how you are going to use it. If it is for processing movies and large files, maybe netbooks are not the one we are after. With a netbook we can carry it easily and do mylotting on the go. What do you think?

I right now am typing from an acer aspire one netbook on an 8.9" screen and this netbook has been running 2-3windows with atlest 3 tabs before and it did not slow down one bit. Now i think that netbooks are the way to go for now because they are small good enough to use as a desktop (if you only want to do some internet and stuff and not run games) and even good enough to use as a great mylot computer as well as many other things.
