How do you PRAY?

I used to pray a lot last year, but after my Aunti left back to the states it seems that i have been reluctantly of forgetful praying to God as i kept missing the sunday masses. I'd better start praying again tonight or this back pain of mine could get worse than it's already been

i pray in the morning and before every meal. I pray at night before i go to bed. These are the things that i am used to since i was a kid. But now for me prayer is like talking to a friend. You will tell Him what you feel if you're angry, happy and disappointed. I realize that to pray doesn't need a proper place and time. If you feel that you need someone to talk then pray to God. Open your heart and you will find the answer.

I do not have any specific way of praying, but I say thanks to God daily for all that he has given to me. Then I chant one mantra after taking bath regularly. I try to request God for peace in world. That is how I pray,if only it is called prayer, but yes I do it with full of my heart in it without any distractions.

hi xchyler. i know praying is communicating with the creator. but when we pray, we do it in a room where nobody can see us, especially the non-believers. you know that i am a christian but not a catholic, so you understand what i mean, right? we never showed on TV what we do or how we pray. it is not a good christian practice to tell everyone, the world wide world, what we do, how we communicate with the creator. it is something like, paganism...

hi xchyler, you are so GODLY now huh.! that's good to hear from you.. well as a believer, a GOD fearing one, i always pray to the Almighty.. every minute and every single time in my life.. i know GOD always hears my prayers, and i am thankful for that.. i pray during i wake up in bed, i thank him for the safety night HE given me, and i thank HIM too that he gave me a wonderful morning and i am asking HIS guidance for the whole day.. that the HOLY Spirit will guide me, and i always pray for the guidance also on my family and loved ones.. every meal i pray and thanking HIM for the blessing and again i pray before sleeping, to guide me and keep me safe for the whole night sleep.. prayer is very powerful and i love praying to HIM because i know HE is always there to listen to me.. more power and GOD bless you too.. thank you.. janebeth.
