Hello my friend I need my brain, as it is after a certain time the lights go out and there is nothing sensible there lol when this happens I call it quits, must say don't seem to be much of an issue lately guess I am actually getting use to his place if we don't think about our responses then what will our responses say to the poster, I usually say I respond from the heart but this is not always the case I use both sometimes I may read something and just start typing let the thoughts flow as I type I think it is better to actually think about the question for a minute then type, fewer mistakes if I take this approach. Good question my friend.

hi Patsie. I have seen a lot of discussions that seems to be lacking in quantity, no substance. Can we say that the one who created them has less IQ of no IQ? if so, then I could say, that we can really mylot, without IQ. Take some rest, dear friend.

hi neildc tonight I saw one by a newbie a girl i assumed'who said 'her sister was mad at her and told her to eat on her. I asked this' girl what eat on her meant. That was the whole discussion the one sentence saying her sister told her to eat on her. give me a break, someones idea of a joke or some foreign saying that I do not understand? wow.

oh no not at all , we have more than enough rules, this is 'meant to be silly sort of tongue in cheek not to be taken' too seriously. my hats off to all the newbies with english'as second language. my only gripe is terms that they may know'but we dont and not giving one clue as to the meanings.I want to reply to newcomers but I need to know what they are asking and the term eat on my sister did not tellme one thing.

hi patsie. maybe the girl newbie is a non-English person so she had hard time mylotting. would you think there is a need to screen new members, about their IQ?

Too many Kidadults roaming here in mylot. I have come to the point when I read the discussions and despair at the lack of depth of the people who write the posts. There is no deep thinking at all and a serious neglect to put some weight to their discussions. There are enough people here who cannot tell when they are saying something sensible and when they are talking outright nonsense. But again a discussion which may have no basis at all gets prolonged for no real reason other than getting getting tons of responses. People are too lazy to use their thinking mind and instead go for lightweight topics which encourages even the intelligent people to stoop to their level and post nonsensical topics.

hi zandi the discussionwith oneline that I read from a newbie that 'I thought I would give her her first response just floored me.it read just one line"I made my sister mad so she made me eat on her and she tasted good." Now what am I supposed to makeof that, what is the discussion in that and what does eat on her mean? I asked the person who wrote it but now cannot find the discussion, could be it was deleted but should have said so if it was. I wish newones would put some effort into explaining the meanings of their terms.

Surely it takes a lot of brain and guts to come on here and write about some of the things that get posted? They are then here for the whole of the web to see forever. I think that all those with a really high IQ should step in and let their hair down once in a while - it would do 'em a power of good!

mysdianait yes it really does indeed. the discussion from a newbie that was one line read this way.I think it was a she."mysister is mad at me so she made me eat on her and it tasted good' now what was that all about am I naive, did it get deleted for I cannot find it and I told the poster to use enough sentences to explain what she wanted from mylotters.I m beginning to think this was a very vulgar thing that mylot admins may have deleted.anyway this was the discussion that triggered my discussion.

I think you can. Some of the discussions that I've most enjoyed were written less with 'IQ' than they were with humor. The funnybone can be a wonderful author, as well as an appreciative audience. Great discussions are also written with the passion of the author for the subject they've written about, or the anger about something that happened in their day. There will always be plenty of opinion-type discussions here, but mixed in there are plenty of gems too.

LOL, I've had a few discussions like that. Kind of like will they get more responses then those that do require more thought. I don't know. I think it would be hard. I mean I'd get bored here if all it had to think about was what color did you paint your toenails last night. I can't. I need something that means something or I put some brain power into. There are times that you see some that you respond too just because, but that's not that often for me. I'd rather think when I'm here. They say you stop using something you have to oil it up again to get the gears moving. Guess I'd rather be fully functional then have the down times.

kprofgames yes I hate those questions that do not let usmake any kind of response really and its not really a discussion.what made me start this was a discussion in one s entence, she said shehad made her sister mad at her and her said eat me and she did and it tasted good.now what the heck is meant by that and how can I help out the newbies if I cannot get them to tell me what their particular expressions mean?

Oh, for me, I do think that I need some IQ to do myLot. Cos I must write something that people can understand and my English must also not be too lousy. During days when my brain is not really working, after responding to 2 - 3 discussions, I will just give up and log off myLot. It's quite difficult for me to write when my brain is not working well.... can't even write a proper sentense.....Cheers =))

hi thhoon72 I applaud all who have English as a seocnd language as its a tough language to learn with all its exceptions to the rules. I do have days when all my English knowledge as an American seems frozen and I cannot think of a good topic for a discussion that has not been done.Or days when I respond and find a zillion typos that I missed., time to cry,. sob.

I do not know if you can do it without your brain. I MyLot to improve and maintain my brain, but sometimes I goof up, I am sure. I see evidence daily that people seem to live without brains and MyLot in that condition as well.

hi GardenGerty I saw one discussion today a very short one telling about doing something to make her sister Angry and how she,I assume it was a she, did as her sister asked, she she ate on her. I asked the person who made this bizarre'statement what she meant by ate on her. that was just one sentence and'I had no idea what was meant or what we were supposed to reply to.

No, I do not think so. When the brain is not utilised for whatever reason, that is the time I make silly errors in spelling and grammar. Worse, I could be beating around the bush, not actually getting to the point of what I intend to say. There were times I was tempted not to use my brain faculties, and start trivial or mundane discussions. Just for the sake of increasing the chances of getting many responses. But if every member does the same thing, less people will eventually become active here.

hi rosdimy yep when we do not active our brain we do get in trouble mylotting. This is a trival discussion but most[of mine are very serious indeed. so am playing just for awhile here. Too'I am upset that some mylotters use an unfamilar term and do not' give one clue as to what is meant. a one sentence discussion including an odd term doesnt give you anything to answer to and i wanted to help this newbie.

Hey Hatley! From some of the stupid discussions that I have seen here I do think that it is possible to mylot without much of a brain!lol I don't think that there is much deep thinking on some of the discussions that I have seen that take one line to type and ask the same stupid questions over and over again. So sadly I do feel that there are alot of mylotters here that probably don't have the greatest IQ's or brain power or if they do they sure don't want to use it! But, the we have people who more than make up for the by starting wonderful thought provoking discussions that they can be proud of!

hi opal the discussion that triggered mine went something like'this:My sister is mad at me and made me eaton her and it was sweet. now what'the heck is that all about? Is this a vulgar statement or a discussion that I am too dumb to understand? I wanted to be the first one to reply to this newbie but i did not understand any of that.
