Ever since I was a kid my mom always taught me to give my best. But then when I failed my mom taught that I never gave my best.LOL I think you can't always give your best. There would time when something bothers you and you get destructed. What do you think? Do you always give your best in everything that you do?
Thank a lot!

No, I can't say I always give my best - but if we are talking about important things, I think that is always my aim.
For instance, some days I will remove everything from the top of my furniture, and dust and polish. Other days, I will sort of wipe the duster around the things on the furniture. That isn't giving my best, but it satisfies me at the time.
On the other hand, if we are talking about paid employment, then I think we should always endeavour to give our best, and there are several other times when this would be true.
I had a little rhyme which I printed on all of my children's school books. Since they are all highly successful, it might have had a little influence.
Good, Better, Best.
Never let it rest
Until your good is better,
And your better is best.

Giving best all the time is almost equal to being perfect! Nobody can give best always and that is when we do not get what we fought for. It is okay to lose because that will help us keep grounded and make us tougher to fight more. It is quite natural to get distracted and perform less.
i do not give my best in everything I do. It depends on the things I do also on my mood. Even if it is something I enjoy verymuch but I am bored to do it at a particular time and at the sametime I am forced to do it then, i end up doing it very bad!!!
