Well to be honest it's 50-50. I try to post something interesting to attract people and earn money, but also to solve my own problems, to find answers to the questions that bother me.

If truth be told, I respond to discussions only to see myself getting a best response. I generally don't post discussions for two reasons: one, because I can't come up with many ideas for discussion topics and two, because I get very few responses. But I mean what I say in my responses and I think about what I'm going to write before responding to a discussion. I just can't shoot off one-liner responses to any discussion. And if I feel that I'll not be able to contribute more than one line to the discussion, I generally don't go to respond to it. Also, another thing which I like to see is my responses being commented upon (of course, the comments should be good!!!!). It makes me happy if someone appreciates my response and motivates me to go for responding more. I still haven't figured out how to transfer my paypal money to one of my banks so any money which I'm earning is still useless to me. Cheers.

hello abhi,
thanks for responding!!!
that is really nice if you look to help other's by responding and expecting to be a best response. because many people here just respond in a single line just for earning a cent or may be less. you doing a good work. cheers

To be honest, I came to this site just for making money. However after posting a bit, I met a lot of great people here who are really nice and who do give a lot of good information. Nowadays I just post because I want to comment on something and be heard. I find myLot a great place to express yourself as there are a lot of member who are open minded and who will listen to what you say.

I'm definitely here just for the cash, but that doesn't mean that I won't contribute thoughtful posts. I mean everything that I post and I try my best not to post meaningless stuff because I think that even if you're not so interested in what you're doing, that's no excuse for shoddy work.

It kind of depends. Of course I post in mylot and not any other forum because if I do it here, I get paid for it. The earnings are not that much though, if I'd be doing tasks I'd be earning a lot faster. So posting on discussions is both for fun and earning, but since it doesn't earn fast more for fun than earning.
I love to respond to the discussions of my friends and hear about the fun, sad, wacky and exciting things they experience. If you don't have fun posting, you'd better stay away from mylot - because quality responses take time.

I joined mylot to earn but what I do here is mostly just read the discussions and sometimes I run out of steam to post in that discussion, especially after reading what some of the answers are. I haven't even started a single discussion yet, I would love to, its just that I keep thinking I don't have the time to answer back what the others will say. Hmmmmm..... maybe I should just go on and start one then maybe after that things will be easy. YOU JUST GIVEN ME an inspiration... lol... once I get over my procrastination.. hehehehe

Yes I did come here just for earning some money but I can't say I wouldn't still come here even if they didn't pay. There are some interesting topics to learn from and discuss.

I am using myLot for leisure purpose as well as to earn extra cash, but leisure purpose as the primary purpose because I'm earning passive income from an online marketing site as an affiliate. The earning here on myLot can only be use as extra cash and never as passive income to make a living. If you're interested in making passive income online, then I really think affiliate marketing is what you should try out because it pays attractive commissions and plus you can eventually earn passive income from it if you're willing to work hard and also provided that you use the right tactic as an affiliate.

Well I do it for both reasons. It's fun to help people out while knowing that you're earning. But of course, it's impossible for you to earn a lot here so doing it for just the money is a sad way of earning money. It's fun and if you enjoy it not for the money, then you're getting a great bonus! I like both because I need a sideline and I love posting and taking a lot, so mylot is the perfect place for this.
