T Mobile Cell phone service

Well I went to Tmobile about a month ago and purchased 3 phone (got them for free actually with service) and a 2 year contract. I also purchased a web stick modem and internet service. T Mobile gives you 14 days to decide wether you want to keep the service or not...we previously had Alltel and before that Verizon and neither of them offered the 14 day trial. Well I hate Verizon and would never ever use them again if they were the last service on earth...Alltel was ok but in july they decided to become Verizon so we dumped them. I was ticked off at the time because we had had that same service for about 6 years and I wasnt planning to change but I wont hang with verizon so... Anyway I have to say they did us a HUGE favor..lol So far I am soooo impressed with TMobile!!! First of all after I got everything I couldnt get the modem to work at all so I was on the phone with customer service several times a day for 3 days...and every single person I talked with was pleasant and polite and went out of their way to help me.... TMobiles web service for $60 per month is limited to 5G a month...which sounds like quite a bit but even with the darn thing not working right we blew through that in 3 days so I figured out that that wasnt goint to be a good deal at all....so I packed the modem up and sent it back....I called to cancel the service and it took all of 2 minutes to get it cancelled.....usually when you try to cancel a service you get the run around for months.... Anyway I went back to the store and ended up buying a blackberry for just $75 which was only $25 more than the modem and I got unlimited web service with it for only $25...so I ended up getting unlimited service instead of only 5G for less than half as much! And you can tether the blackberry to the comp and use it like a regular modem....of course I figured after the first 5G of service they would throttle it so much that you could barely do anything but actually its not much slower at all.... So far I am EXTREMELY happy with my new TMobile service and their customer service department is the best I have ever come across...and to make it all even better I am getting the same services at TMobile that I was at Altell but I was paying $225 per month with altel and am only paying $180 with TMobile....gotta love that But the best thing so far is I figured for sure I would have to fight and argue with them to get the refun for the modem i sent back....I sent it registered and everything to be safe and i got delivery confirmation on Aug 28 so i figured i would wait about 2 weeks and then start bugging them for my refund...lol...well a few days ago i was checking the balance on my card and found that they had already refunded the money!! I cant say enough good about TMobile and I definately would recommend them to anyone looking for cell phone service right now!!

I've had t-mobile for a while & I'm pretty happy with them as well... Had t-mobile for about 4 years, went to nextel & shortly after they merged with sprint, I came back to t-mobile & been with them since, which has been little over year and half... Which blackberry do you have? I had pearl 8120... I'm currently using one of the older phone, motorola krzr k1, but their data service is pretty good too... T-mobile coverage is not as big as some companies but as long as you know where you're gonna be using your phone the most, you can check to see if your phone will work in that area or not... Inside of my work building, 4 people who have verizon phone & 2 people with sprint phone are constantly complaining how they don't get service... They constantly have to stand in front of the bathroom to get any kind of signal at all... I always have full service in there regardless of what part of the building I'm in...

I have the curve 8320...it doesnt do quite as much as i thought it would but i am still very happy with it....I mostly use it at home tethered to my comp as a modem and unless there is bad weather i get good service out here.... Right now i have 4 phones on my plan including the blackberry and i have an unlimited texing plan for $25 that covers ALL of the phones and an unlimited data plan on the blackberry for $35 so that works out to $60 and that includes sending picture messages and everything... I was paying $60 just for the data plan alone at altel and only had 3 phones...I was paying $225 a month for altell and am only paying $185 with tmobile with unlimited everything....I cant complain The connection is a bit slower because there is NO 3G in this area yet but i knew that when i bought it and it is still faster than dsl so im ok with it....

Oh, by the way, by the time you've been with them for 22 month, they'll give you an option where you can pick unlimited voice calling plan for $50... Add $35 for unlimited blackberry plan that includes unlimited messaging as well & the price of the plan comes out to $85/month for unlimited everything... They have similiar promotion for family plan as well if I'm not mistaken... Hope they still have it by the time you get to your 22nd month into your contract...

Hey, Yea TMobile is quite good actually, but some people haven't had that many good experiences with them. So it all depends on what experience you have had, some people claim that their service sucks, but others praise them, all about your experience. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

I am glad that you like t-mobile, but I had it and wouldn'thave ti again. Their service is lousy, at least it was for me. Their coverage area isn't all that great either. I have better coverage with Verizon. I know you don't like Verizon, and I ma sorry to hear that. You certainly do have a right to your opinion. I just feel that Verizon, has done much better for me in the short time I have had them, than t-mobile has for the 5 years I was with them. I am sticking with Verizon. I am glad that you found a company that works for you. Just keep with it. Take care, and happy mylotting.

I hear ya! A LOT of people swear by verizon and I had them like 9 years ago so maybe they have gotten better since then but they just really put me off with their terrible service and their terrible customer service back then and I swore I would never give them my money again... Beside I am getting MORE services from TMobile for $45 dollars less per month.
