Do you unconsciously spend lots of time browsing the web sometimes?

I do. Sites like youtube and wikipedia somehow have the amazing power to captivate me and cause me to spend much more time on them then I usually intend to.
Watching videos usually sends me on a spree whereby I keep clicking on related videos, and sometimes when I find a series of videos I like, I end up watching a whole playlist of them that could take hours!
When I get on wikipedia to find out about a particular person/place/term, I end up finding out that there are some terms in the article that I don't really know, and it sets me off on a quest for more knowledge, clicking on link after link and reading the articles.
Anyone else have similar experiences? What do you think is the draw of these websites?

Yes this happens almost every single day of my life. It also happens now to my mother, and I think she is also starting to enjoy the Internet too, even though she is starting to get rather old. But it happens to all of us regardless. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I don't browse the web as much as I used to although I really do love the website youtube. I watch a lot of videos on that site and it certainly helps to pass the time at night. Otherwise I am generally focused on My Lot which is a great place to hang out. I could quite easily spend many hours on My Lot just posting and posting and posting away, this is the thing I like to do best! Andrew

If I am surfing online line, many at times, the time goes so fast that I won't realize that I was online for such a long period & when I look at my watch, I'll be surprised to that the time had gone so fast. I find internet very interesting & even if I stay online for 24 hrs, I will still have the want for more
