Movie "9" releasing on 9/9/09, also the day is Wednesday, which has 9 letters in it, is it coincidence or planned, would they have planned even the "wednesday" part?

I read somewhere that it is indeed planned to be released in 9/9/09. It is a marketing gimmick by the producer of the movie, Tim Burton. I am curious about this movie since it already create a buzz on the internet. I've seen some movie stills and it looks good!

Yeah it does kind of looks good, I think my older brother is more enthusiastic about it then me. I guess I don't really pay much attention to commercials sometimes, but sometimes movies end up a completely different standard then what you would expect from the commercial. I didn't really think much about the commercial but I think i do want to see it, I've always been kind of interested in all the Tim Burton movies but never actually watched one, maybe sometime.

I think they planned it it was going to come out sometime this year so they probably waited till this day to release it which is kind of cool. But I dont know if I want to see this movie since I dont know what to think of it I dont even know what this movie is about really so I have no idea if I want to see this movie or not maybe I will at some point in time depending on reviews.

It's a coincidence. Movies will start either Wednesday or Friday, normally. And it would be impossible to plan it around 9/9/09. What if Wednesday was 9/10/09? It wouldn't work.

I think that will be pure coincidence. They might have thought of releasing it on 9/9, but to their surprise ,it was a Wednesday! There would be no way they might have planned anything like that

I think it's just a concidence, unless they've been waiting a few decades for 9/9/?9 to land on a Wednesday, and Saturday has nine letters in it too. They probably wouldn't stress having everything nine that bad unless they were planning some apocalyptic event.
