Do you research before buying any product

well, yes i do a lot of research before buying any expensive product. ofcourse i don't research for my tooth paste and brush lol :) i do research before buying a product that i will be going to use for a long time or is a bit expensive. thanks

Sometimes, I check that product from Internet review. Somtimes, I check from my friend who use that product. But sometimes, I just buy that product directly to shop

Yes, I research before buying. Firstly I ask friends and family what brand/model they have found to be good. I visit websites of the makers and get the technical details. I visit "comparison" sites which compare different makes/models of similar articles. I visit dealers and compare the actual products, prices etc. I almost never buy on the spur of the moment unless it is a product I am familiar with.

I value my hard-earned money. So, everytime I need to buy something, I do research on it. Well, not everytime - say, I do not research about bananas or rice or pineapples. Branded consumer goods, gadgets, and the likes are most likely to be researched on. Expensive stuff, too, should be researched on to make sure that the quality and the features are really what I needed. I normally do it online. Customer feedback are the most powerful tool. Similar to services like hotels and flights,etc. Great discussion.

Hello, well sometimes I will research a produt before buying.When it is an electronic product I will read reviews and weigh the pros and cons of the review.If I am spending what I consider alot of money I want to know what other people have to say on that product and possible other things to consider.

Hi Madugulagopi, I am currently thinking about a mobile phone and am in the process of researching them. I have settled on the LG Viewty err I can't remember the last part, the more recent one anyway. Alas my research turned up the issue of Contracts and such things and then I got bored, so before I make any moves to buy a phone I have to research contracts too I do like researching anything big I am going to buy though so I know whether it will die within 6 months! One of the phones I did want to get got reviews that said it would die before the year was out so I quickly cancelled those plans! lol I usually do all my research via reviews, and this time even through youtube videos too, so I could see what the phones could do and things like that. It helps me know what to expect, especially since I do most of my buying online to save on face to face meetings with people who force me to buy things I don't want! All the best, Dranz
