I'm curious to know what deals are out there. I'm paying over 70 bucks per month for (what was) Comcast's fastest service. I'm not sure how fast though and interested to hear what I should look for in terms of speed and features when shopping around and what people are paying these days.

Hi! I'm living in Estonia at the moment and have 5 Mbit/sec download as well as 5 Mbit/sec upload channel. It costs me about $20 a month and works fine. As long as I know my provider offers also 10 Mbit/sec up and down for $30 per month, but I'm perfect with my 5 Megabits.
Jolly myLotting!

That sounds like a tremendous bargain! I need something that cheap. Isn't there a web site where you can test your upload and download speeeds? I'm sure an AT&T engineer showed me one

I don't blame you. Personally I am not a big fan of AT&T as a company. They have screwed me over so many times, I am not keen to use them as a vendor. They do seem to have a monopoly or close to once again though, I think our friend in Estonia is winning in the value stakes so far!

That definitely sounds like quite a lot to me. I'm with AOL and I pay around £14.99 per month and this also inclues free calls on 01, 02 and 03 numbers. I think that this is a very good deal and it certainly works for me. There are lots of different packages out there though and it certainly pays to carry out some research before signing up with anyone. I know that people are talking about the fibre optic option and that this is very fast and I'm sure that you have to pay through the roof for it as well. I don't see the need for this myself as my present Internet speed is fast enough! Andrew

Hey,
Well at the moment, we are paying about $99 per month for out Internet connection, which is the fastest in our country so far, but we also get free unlimited international calls, so that is a really good deal. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Hmm..you'll have to explain that one to me. I can understand if you have wifi and are able to piggyback some other local public network (or a neighbour) but other than that, I have no idea how to do what you say
