how close are you to your family?

Interesting question, personally I love being around my family on holidays. But if you ask my married chidlren about this they would say they only do it for me, because if they all three get together for over 48 hours there will be a disagreement during the holiday. I do not remember fights in my family on the holidays as I was growing up, other than a few minor disagreements between the young children), but I know some families cannot get together for even a few hours without fighting. We do all get together about every 2 years for a vacation somewhere. We make that a holiday, even though it is usually done right after school lets out. I remember spending holidays with my family until about 10 years ago and now they no longer live close enough together for all of us to get together on a holiday. I is and was a very important part of my life and I raised my children that way. We try to get together every year for Christmas, but there is usually someone missing due to having to work. This year we will have Christmas around the 10th of December and combine it with a graduation for a university for one of my daughters(A teacher is her profession).

I am very close with my family.Once in 2-4months i take a live and go to my house and spend time with them.Talking on the phone is everyday.My parents are very conserned about me.I like to spend time with my friends.My father is very close to me he understands me very much.Without a family a person is incomplete.

Yeah, I close with my family. But my kids were grown, so we rarely get together. I often spend time with my wife. My brother and sister lived in another city far enough. We rarely met.
