Do you think that the economy has improved since President Obama been in office?

I believe that the economy has improved since President Obamahas been in office. It has been reported that less people are filing for unemployment insurance. People are starting to spend more in their everyday activities. People are beginning to buy homes. What is your opinion?

Um.....what?? Unemployment continues to climb, in fact, it has climbed 1.8% higher than he predicted it would before it turns around. Housing sales really haven't moved. the stock market has only recoverd a small precentage of it's near historic loss and we have unprecidented debt and deficit thanks to Obama and the last president, Bush.
...and we aren't done yet.
We still have a commercial real estate bubble ready to pop, we have a credit bubble ready to burst. The dollar is still coninuing to take hits and will soon be near worthless. We are going to see a period of slight deflation, resulting in more businesses being lost followed by inflation or even hyper inflation.
No, the economy has not improved, certain indicators have jumped around and things have shifted in areas, where things have gotten worse in others, on the larger picture, things are only beginning and will be much worse.

I acknowledge his swift actions once arriving in office did help keep the US from plunging into a deep depression however we're not out of the woods yet since Americans are still suffering from unemployment. We're not out of the woods yet and this could potentially get far more worse. Its a slippery slope we're on. I watch CNN all the time and now and then they'll hype up some pathetic number if the unemployment rate drops slightly as if the recession was over. Sometimes I think they're just lying to fill air time. I'm a college grad. I graduated with honors, a 3.6 GPA and am still unemployed for over a year now. Yes, jobs have come my way, by they pay trash. It would be insulting for me to have taken them. I have nothing to show for all my hard work aside from a few dollars from temp work and online earnings. I totally support Obama and understand this is a massive burden on his shoulders too but I'm suffering.
