Life will be dull, information will not be spreaded as quickly as today (thanks to facebook, twitter and other social networking sites), we all will still use typewriter and there will be a lot of typo, and I imagine there will be also a lot usage of papers since there is no virtual storage database. I cannot say it is bad or normal, people can live normal back when there is even no TV, but I imagine life will become much slower then.

I sometimes think that life would be better without computers and people would have better relationships. While computers have been great for keeping in touch with friends and family who live miles away (I currently keep in touch with a college friend in Moldova via the internet), it can also be a distraction. There are many times when I find myself distracted by something on the internet and realize that here I am sitting on the couch next to my fiance, but instead of having a conversation with him, I playing mafia wars on facebook and he is watching tv.
It is a great tool though in many ways. Any piece of information you need is at your finger tips from the best prices on sofas to online classes for a masters degree. I personally would be lost without my computer.

I think for personal relationships with someone close to us like our family, yes maybe the internet ruin a little bit of social conversation with them. But for friends who cannot stay in touch with us personally, computers and internet certainly make our distance become much closer

Hi there, I'd miss it but thats only because I've had one for the past 10 years. I lived 43 years of my life without a computer and I was just fine so I know I'd adjust again and still be fine. I think it is younger people who have had them their entire lives that would really have a hard time dealing in a life without the computer. I recall a time when the whole world operated just fine without computers. guess I'm aging myself here but it is true. I think if computers just all crashed then the younger people would find a new appreciation of us older people...we'd have to train them all how to run a business, do the books, use a typewriter, shorthand etc. It's a whole different world.

Hey,
I honestly would think that the world wouldn't be the same again. Think about it, we couldn't send an email to our relatives if their was an emergency, we would either have to mail them or call them up, which can be very expensive and take time too. It has made our lives much easier. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

I was twelve years old when I first got my first laptop and till today I am very well with laptop than computer now if I do not have any of these then life will be dull for me because everyday I am infront of the laptop either working, surfing, watching a DVD or playing on the laptop. So life without a PC will be very boring for me. I can stay away from my mobile but not from the laptop.

well as an aspiring computer programmer i'll definatley be left without a job and then the world will plunge into another dark age as so much information is now online. A generations worth of info would be lost and the link of transmission of info would be lost. Once you break the link humanity as we know it will either come out of the dark ages reborn or perish.
