Hello Cherryd. I used to have the same case as you have. Sometimes my teeth were afraid of cold and sometimes hot. I don't know why this happened. I don't like the feeling though. I have never been to a doctor for this. Now it seems that I have not had this for a year or more. I wish it would never happen again.

Hello Cherryd. We have a special kind of domestic toothpaste in China, whose name is lengshuanglin, a kind of toothpaste good for teeth that are afraid of cold and sour. I use it, but not always, because I love to use a different kind each time I have consumed the previous one. Thank you for the information, friend. Have a good day.

Hi Williamjisir Have you considered using the toothpast Sensodyne? It works very well for this condition I have been using off and on for a while I don't need to use it everyday as I don't have the problem all the time but would recommend it to anyone who has sensative teeth I haven't had anyone tell me that it doesn't work for them:-)

Fortunately it doesn't happen to me.I think you should choose suitable toothpaste, then you should have the consciousness to protect your teeth.Maybe it's because you eat too much food that's not good to your teeth when you are child. So my advise is to get more information about protecting teeth in our daily life, hope it can help.

Jackie 2009 I do use a sutitable toothpaaste did you not read that in my discussion? I use Sensodyne when I need to (That is protecting my teeth if you knew that Synsodyne is a toothpaste made especially for this condition you would know that ....and what is this about conciousnes to protect my teeth obviously you didn't read the post properly before you decided to respond to it. And it appears you know very little about the reasons that teeth can become sensative. Sometimes its due to silver fillings that can become sensative to hot or cold or it can be some slight wear in the enamel I would advise you to read discussion topics and content thoroughly and think about what you say before you respond your missing the point on this one Jackie

I agree with you. Though Sensodyne is an expensive toothpaste, it has been proven to cure sensitive teeth.

Luckily I do not have any sensitive teeth. I do not encounter any pain or reaction regardless of the temperature of what I drink or take in. But a friend of mine has this and he has been using synsodine. I do agree that it is effective considering that my friend has the problem again after using it.

I have sensative teeth too. I don't use a specific toothpaste, in fact I use Aquafresh. I do hear that sensodyne does wonders for really really sensative teeth.

well not really on sensitive teeth but an infected teeth and I had to undergo a painful root canal, four sessions of agonizing open mouth aching face muscles, one week plus of antibiotic therapy with vomiting side effects and lots of money down in my pocket. Now I know how important it is to really take care of our teeth.. oh boy!

Hi Joygracia Wow it seems like you had a long unforgetable experience at the dentist office that day! Root canals are very expensive and can also be painful I never heard of it making anyone vomit though..but yes your right it pays to brush and floss those are the cheapest tools you can use to make sure you don't have huge dental bills to follow!
