I am looking for a website that will explain physics to me as if I am an untrained monkey (NOT trained). I want a site that will dumb everything down as much as possible because to be frank I just don't get it. I have no idea what I am doing.

You are try wikipedia.com as there is total history of everything for what ever you search. I search for anything that i need on wikipedia itself because its very easy to get the exact topic that i need. It bifurcates topics in many different ways. It also provides in many different national languages. Hope so this helps you regarding the information.

Definitely, wikipedia is one of the best source of information about anything.
But contents in wikipedia are not always right, because anybody can write and contribute things in there, these people may be very good or just knowledgeable about the topics and sometimes it may mislead you.

Ya some times its not exactly correct. I always search for it there but i get good and genuine information over there. Its a good site to search upon if the matter needed is from the scratch.

In addition to howstuffworks, which is a very good site there is a site called wisegeek. It has information on almost every subject on earth. You can subscribe to it to get info directly to your mailbox.
