Would You Eat This?

I'm watching Andy Zimmerman right now, and he is eating Donkey meat. It is supposed to be really good for you and is tender and really lean. They even use the tails and skin. He was really getting into eating donkey. I gotta say I don't know if I would try it or not. They say you can cook it just about anyway you cook other meat, stew, stir fry etc. So would you eat Donkey?

Not even on a bet. I am working on becoming vegetarian so I'm not eating any beef or chicken and have cut wayyyy back on pork. I'm hoping to stop eating pork this month but I have to work my way off it. I definately wouldn't start eating donkey.

I hear ya, i'm not always proud of myself for eating meat, but I don't really eat a lot of it. But I do love chicken and hamburger.

Yes I would try it it's not it's eating your favorite pet or anything. I love eggs and look where they come from. I like pork and we know how pigs stink. I think it's all about what's in our head.

True it's not like we are eating an animal that we love, and yes pigs do stink lol.

I have to say,I have eaten horse,moose,dear,rattle snake,shark(hated it),beef,chicken,pork(not that fond of it),monkey,and bear,to name a few,most were pretty good,some pretty gamey but not all that bad.
I don't think donkey would be much different from horse.
I think a lot would depend on the reason for it.

Doesn't sound very tasty to me right now, lol. I think I would eat it just to try it though. Apart from any other meat, besides, pork, beef, or chicken I've eatin deer so I'm sure donkey wouldn't taste that bad.

Well they said Donkey does not have a gamey taste to it. i know I don't like deer meat, that is to gamey for me. Though how do we know a Donkey is no cuter than a cow or a pig. We are just used to animals that we know. I do know I'd never eat snails or ells lol.

I think I can eat donkey. It should be more less the same like other meat. So far, I have eaten pork, chicken, beef, frog, fish, bird, and many kind of sea food. I forgot the kangaroo, I ate it when I was in Australia.
In some countries, we can get more kind of meats. I heard there is a country that prepare dog, cat, rat, monkey, snake, etc.
Do you like rabbit? We have rabbit here and cooked as satay. The taste is similar like chicken.

I only eat chicken, mutton and fish. I am not going to try donkey meat. Here in my country its not available.
