cause some people were so excited to help their family that in their first salary that they will immediately to their parents. not unless you got married young or had partner when you were young . i think most children like to reward their parents for their hardship in raising them up and giving them good education in life. and so i think that it is just fitting help our parents out in our first ever salary. if only i did have a job. ha ha. anyways, i still do help my parents in other ways at home.

it is opportunity for us while we are still single to give our salaries to our parents. cause when we are married things kinda hard to give to parents as our partner may object . anyways, i have no job ever since and so i have not experienced giving to my parents. would i really money to them if i do have a job. i think yes, but i am not so sure not unless i really do have a job.

That's my first goal right now.I just graduate from university and are ready to find a preferred job.Actually I admire those who give some money back to their parents regularly. If I have a job one day,I plan to give some to my parents also.Although it's not our responsibility,we should thank them for raising us for so many years and everything they taught us . While money is not the only way,we should spend as much time as we could with them, having conversation with them ,knowing their desire.

yes money is not the only way to show our gratitude to our parents. i do show my gratitude is so many other ways than with money. and i think that helping from them day to day work or responsibilities is a way of giving back to them.

Hi hotsummer, I still remember, I gave my 2 third of my salary to my mother. I couldnt give my full salary that time as i was in much need of money and i was in need of money for my expenses. My mother was much satisfied with my act during that time and she gave me half of the money i gave her. But i dint buy. Now i wish to give one big amount from my salary to my Grandma. hope those months come soon. Have a nice time!

I haven't found a real job so my first salary is still waiting for me. My sisters have given some of the money they have earned from work but not whole of it. What would you use if you gave all the money, right? So it's quite complicated as we have to leave some from ourselves. Let me get back to you when i receive my very first salary from my very first real job. ;)

yes it is a big help when we can help ourselves and not depend on our parents. but it is still okay though if we still ask for some help . since you can stand on your own saving first for what you need is good also.

I have forgot when I got my first salary and how much I got,but I really remember when i gave my money to my mother, how happy she felt at that time.My mother smiled and stop her work immediately, couldn't speak out a word... My mother has taught me a lot when I was only a little boy, telling me to catch my dreams no matter what happens, and I am now struggling too,I think I must try the most to thank my mother...but I can only give my money to her, somehow I even feel something guilty... I also would like to reward my parents in other ways as you,not only the money... beeduzhe

yes giving money to them does not mean we can't or don't need to show our gratitude to them to other ways. but it is good to help them financially sometimes but it is more important to support in other ways like by giving them the love and attention they need when we have the time to give it to them.

yeah, we can still help in some ways or little ways. our parents will not mind if we have our own responsibilities or family now and we can't give as much as when we were still single.

In the last six months of my college life,i found a job as a developer of shoes. i spent amost all my first salary together with the next five months' salary as my school fee--it is permited for us to pay the last year's school fee before graduate. but i spent a little money from the salary to bought some gifts to my parent, it seams to be two suits of clothes, it made my parent very happy.

Well, it's very generous to give our first ever salary to our parents. Most people did just that, but again, it depends on our daily expenditure. Especially those who live far away from their parents. Just make an illustration : One boy works in USA while his parents live in Spain. His first ever salary is 2000 USD. He needs, actually, 2500 for monthly expenditure (note that this is just important expenditure, neither entertainment nor vacation expense). That means he still needs another 500 USD to cover his expenses. The question is, could he still give his first salary to his parents ???

If I remember it right , I only gave them half of it. The other half I made use of it to treat my nephews and nieces to a movie.

Hi Hotsummer, I actually gave my parents all my salary the first 3 years. My parents worked very hard to earn our tuition and even borrow money for us to go to colleague. Yes, it's time to reward them for their hardship. I still give money to my parents quite often after my marriage.

I don't even open my pay slip. I just hand it over to my parents. I feel i don't need so much money for me alone. So, till i get married i'll give my salary to my parents. Its not just the first salary but all that i earn belongs to them :) I feel so excited when i hand over the pay slip to them. So i will continue doing the same.
