How long have you been with your best friend?

My father had a job that required him to be transferred to other places often so as a kid I wasn't able to make very good friends so no best friends too. But the day I got in the college i got many friends and one of them became my best friend. So I have been with my best friend for 3 years now.. I share all my problems and all my happy moments with him and he shares everything with me.. When we get together we chat for hours and still the time doesn't seem enough!

i have known my best friend since 1975, so how many years does that make? ... 34! we still see each other and go out together to dine, though not frequently as we did when we didn't have our own families yet. bff indeed ... ... that's best friends forever!

well i have a few one we been best friends since 5 grade and another since high school but i got a few we been friends from 10 yrs to over 30 plus yrs

I met my best friend in 1977 while we were both in high school. We are still as close as sisters even though we live a few hundred miles apart. We have had some rough patches, but so do most friendships at one point or another. Wow, was it really 32 year ago?

my bestrfriend and I have been friends for 30 years..almost 31 years now... Our moms were bestrfiends too.. they got pregnant together.. So I am just a week older than my bestfriend.. we've been friends since we were little,until we went to the same pre-school, high school... she went away for college... and now we are both mothers...we live closeby...we remained best friends!

I met my best friend during the year 1997.We have been friends from our school. Though we are in far away places now still our friendship continues. Hope it will continue forever.

33 yrs back in July

Hi misisbau. I have several "best friends", lol! I have been with my best friends for more than a decade now. I have just found my best friend in elementary in one of the social networking sites after more than 25 years; but the closeness is not there anymore. As we grow older we continue meeting people and it is up to us to keep the friendship going. Sadly, not all relationship/ friendship last for a lifetime. Although for me, I will always be the friend that my friends have known from the start.

I know my best friend for 4 years now and we have met in the class, she resides in the north and I am from the south so we met in a late night class when we were studying law together, till today we are very good friends though.

I have been with my best friend for a long time now. I think we're on our 11th year this year. I first met her when we were in 1st grade and up to now, we're still best of friends. ALthough sometimes, we have some misunderstandings, which is just normal for best friends, I still love her so much!

My best friend is my sister. I am 54 years old and I would like to say that she has been my best friend since the day I was born, but in actuality, we didn't become best friends until I was twenty. So I guess I have to say we have been best friends for 34 years now.

hello misisbau, I have different best friends in my different phase of life. When I was in my kingdergardent, that means about 18 years ago, I still contact with my best friends in kingdergardent till now, but just ocassionally, she is not my best friend now, becomes normal friend. My best friend now is my college classmate, we have been together the first day we enter the university, we are in the same dorm, and now I have graduated from the unvercity for more than a year, so we have been friends for more than five years totally. She now lives nearby me, we work in the same city.

Some of my best friends have been around with me for at least 20 years or so and I guess that's pretty good considering I'm 35. We've had ups and downs but always end up staying best friends no matter what.

My bestfriend and I have been friends for 8 years. We've met in the company we both applying for a job. I don't know what magnet that bring us together, we have something in common and we both got pregnant but im two months ahead. I delivered a babygirl and babyboy for her. But sad to say we had to go separate way because my husband brought me to a place where we are living now for good and we seldom to see each other but im still glad we still have the tie. To be really frank, I have many "best friends" My best friend in the Montessori is still my best friend. Up to the time I left school, we were together knowing everything about each other. She married and left the country, but after a lapse of a few years, we are back to corresponding again and meet whenever possible. Then I went for Secretarial classes and formed a friendship with a lovely girl there. She too got married and left the country, but we are still "best friends". then I started working and in the work place made friends with a like minded girl. She too is now married, but I meet her often and she visits me and knows everything about me, so she's also one of my "best friends". When I left the country for sometime and started working abroad I met this wondrful girl with whom I made friends and we have been as thick as thieves for close upon 28 years although now we are in different countries. So for me, I have these very very special friends that I have taken to my heart in different stages of my life and one is no special than the other. I'm indeed blessed to have truly great friends and they are like a lovely bouquet of flowers of different hues and fragrances that I treasure very much.

My best friend for 24 years is now my sister in the faith. She is still in contact with me even though she has been in abroad for more than ten years. She sends money to me ocassionally.

My best friend is my husband :) We've been together for almost 4 years now. From school my longest friend I've known about 18 years now.
