Alright, I've set out to learn chinese. I got some free programs, But I decided I wanted some kids movies in (Mandarin) Chinese as well, I found several I want... and I found a currency converter program to tell me how much I'm looking to spend, It's astonishing... I movie I would pay about 25 dollars for here, over there costs 14.50 Yuan... and through the currency converter that is telling me about 2 dollars and 13 cents... Is that really right? Because that sounds really wrong O.o I'm using American Currency, buying items over Amazon.cn (Chinese version of Amazon.com) that are being sold for Yuan... Can anyone tell me more about this process? I'm sorry I'm so clueless. Specific questions being asked: 1. Is that ammount seriously correct? I mean I know I have to pay more for shipping but the movie itself is only going to cost me that much? (And yes it isn't a pirated version, it is just in another language of a common movie in America) 2. other than shipping (Which I am betting will cost a pretty penny) are there any other surprise fees I could be looking at? I know they are changing the Credit card laws over here and Amazon only allows credit cards (And debit I thinks)? 3. Is there any other information about this transaction you can physically possibly give me?
