I have this thing against people in restaurants or on the street just talking loudly into their cellphone , when I'm on the train its the same thing , they pick up their cellphone and instead of trying to have a private conversation , they shout and spread it all around the wagon.
Anybody else have something like this ?

Oh no, I just get irritated if they speak so loudly in a silent and private places. And my father is one of thos epersons, though we say him talk slowly he will listen to us and tries to talk slowly for few seconds and again raises his pitch. from behind me and my mom tells him calm, slow, quite but he just can't do it LOL Some times we laugh looking eachother when his cell rangs up. I don't like everyone near the house listen to his conversation. but what to do he is like that

Yes, it can be annoying, and some conversations should definitely be held in private. Unfortunately, sometimes you have to make or take the call in public, because it is important and can't wait until a later time. People should try to be as quiet as possible out of courtesy to other people, but this might not be possible, either. Some people have hearing problems, and they do not realize that they are being loud or shouting. Since they can't hear very well, they think they are speaking low or in a normal tone, especially if they are in public and there is a lot of background noise.

yes i hate those people who disturb others while talking on the phone.
they just care about their talks & dont even think that they are at a public place.

I would understand people in a situation where they talk loudly when they are outside the building and their are lot of noises like crowded places, cars honking and other environmental noises which makes the receiver of the call to talk loudly. But, in a quiet offices, schools or inside a library, this person talk loudly -i would label her as arrogant because she have no concern with the people around her, under this type of situation she is definitely a showy..

yes, it is annoying to be "forced" to listen to those loud conversations over the phone.
all we can do is to stare, endure and bear to listen till the conversation ends.
